But i guess you could make one with a stone perfectly carved in the shape of a ball and use a cord made of nylon and you would get the same results.

The experiment was created in 1851 way before the NASA / big brother and others.

So, if the earth is Flat (no curvature), then when you look ahead you should be able to see your "highest mountains in the world", no ?
Especially when you are at a place like where I am (New Zealand) and that the view (from the beach) is uninterrupted untill Antartica. 

Maybe the P900 is not strong enough to see the "highest mountains" in the world, but surely, something more powerful could be used to prove the existence mountains.

The solar filter is to prove the Sun does not change size. It is the same size at sunrise, noon, and sunset. I would like a FE, to build a pendulum and show that the pendulum is not tracking the rotation of the earth. 

It is not hard nor expensive to do.
If the experiment can be repeated by globe scientists then everybody will have to admit that the FE were right.

In regards to the optical gyroscope, it's not actually a gyroscope but an acutely sensitive electromagnetic interferometer based on the Sagnac effect and it detects the electromagnetic signature from the stars rotating above. The stars are close small bits of electric plasma that are in motion.

It seems to me that many flat-earthers often quote information that they don't understand. It is apparent that most simply don't have the knowledge and skill in math and science to understand and evaluate what they are reading, so they tend to point to evidence that is invalid and sometimes even irrelevant (such as in this case).

A good example of this lack of knowledge and skill in math and science is the misuse of refraction and perspective to explain the setting sun. Refraction and perspective are both well-understood and have a solid mathematical foundations. Someone that understands the math and science of refraction and perspective would have to conclude that they cannot be used to explain the setting sun.

While I don't believe the earth is flat, I would certainly entertain the notion if only there were a rigorous mathematical and scientific foundation supporting the theory. It is disappointing that flat-earthers cannot provide this.
