Be very wary of relying on JavaScript for security on crypto sites. The site can change the JavaScript at any time unless you take unusual precautions, and browsers are not generally known for their airtight security.

In fact I am using the forum on my mobile (by Chrome) now. I don't think we need a mobile app for now. BTW this is a good suggestion.

It would be a nice feature, but I think I'd rather just have a mobile version of the website. Right now the site is difficult to navigate on while on a mobile device, and a mobile site would be so much nicer. Plus, it would work on all devices that are considered mobile, not just iOS ot Android devices. (Although they make up the majority of mobile devices)

Slickage does have this planned in the future roadmap. We have very seasoned iOS and Android developers so this should be fun!

Me too Smiley But using the current browser (Chrome for Android) is enough for me. I think that we should keep the development for other greater features.

Well, they say it is built for following many forums using mobile. I guess apps like these optimizes and it obviously will break the layout. I still think browser is better than these.

There are 2 Unofficial Bitcointalk Android apps in Play Store:

• Bitcointalk.org App - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.elbandi.forum.bitcointalk&hl=en
• Bitcointalk Alerter - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jesttek.bitcointalkAlerter&hl=en

He may want an official app and also an app for iOS.

Bitcoin Alerter seems like it's a notification of online status. Not useful for browsing the forums but interesting nonetheless.

If the app it's well-developed, it's better to navigate on a dedicated application rather than using the OS navigator.
Keep in mind that with a navigator you can have screen-size adjustment problems. Problems that you can solve with a dedicated and optimized app  Wink
