I paid for 5 miners through minerslab and didn't get anything. I spent more than 11,500 dollars through Bitcoin on this, is there any way you know that i can get my money back?  Cry Cry Cry

I'm not familiar with minerslab. How long ago did you place the order?

Must have been an easy $11.5K to acquire.  I spend over 30 minutes researching a $200 computer part.  For a $11.5k purchase I would have vetted the company and used a credit card.

You sent $11,500 of BTC to some entity without even bothering to do any research beforehand?  What in the name of all that's holy were you thinking?

Jonny's Pool - Mine with us and help us grow!  Support a pool that supports Bitcoin, not a hardware manufacturer's pockets!  No SPV cheats.  No empty blocks.

op what were you thinking?

It seems money is easily accessible to you though to spend that kind of money, esp paying someone all in bitcoin. I never even heard of that company before, but you should take the time to buy hardware from known recommendations like spoondlies or something or even bitmain thats been known for awhile now.

But you decided to take a gamble on a unknown provider?  Huh if you had paid this through c.c. I would said a chargeback would do, and youd be good but thats not even an option here either.

I dont think he was thinking at all, here.

It seems like someone told him about bitcoin, and got super excited and searched the words on google or something and ended up on the site and bought it spot on. Or just some idiot friend linked him a website to go on which he prob didnt do his home work either.

I even asked some random dude I met on the net to send me pics of quadrigacx for .1 bitcoin before and .1 bitcoin after Smiley

Actually that might be a good idea, make a site or something where our community checks the actual location and verifies. Im sure our user base covers enough area?

Why would you get your miner via some unknown provider?

Well it is only money. Lesson learned 11,500 usd is not too bad.  Some people have been burned for 100,000

Good luck recovering your funds. More reputable, less scammy places have paid out nothing before in similar situations, so you should prepare yourself for a total loss on your purchase.

No research on the bitcointalk forums.. prevention is better than a cure, next time just ask here for which companies people can buy... some sp 30 or some antminer s5 with 10k that would be a lot of hashing power.

He's trolling. I can't believe he'd make a new forum account here just to share with us how much money he threw away.
If by any chance this is real, start a thread in the section for scam accusations and maybe look for someone from the UK to visit them on your behalf.
