To be honest I do not understand what you are exactly looking for. If you are interested in proper setup of HW Miner using standard PSU then I would auggest to you instead of asking silly questions to read here in this thread quidance which will help you: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=456691.0

[Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive Manufacturer Trustworthiness Guide [27th Feb] is very good and valid information to start with.

Hope it helps you.

What are you trying to do? If you're just trying to turn a PSU on, use a paper clip. End of story.

Get a quality power supply and heat should not be a issue.  It should use a proper gauge where it can mine fine.

With all the threads you have put way to much thought into PSU and jumping it.

If you're that nervous just buy an ant jumper http://www.amazon.com/AntMiner-Supply-Jumper-Switch-Bitcoin/dp/B00NB2F9LY

It's been brought up before.  I agree if feeling so nervous/not comfortable with paper clip use a switch for 5-10 bucks and dont worry.

Also again the paperclip should not feel hot.  It is a VERY small amount of electricity when in proper holes starting psu.

paperclip don't know hot ?

If in proper holes, no paperclip does not get hot.  It's a very small amount of electricity.

I think you might put your mind at ease and buy one of those switches at this point.

No

It is fine and not an issue.

I have done lot's of PSU's and no issue at all.

Again I have been careful to put in right holes.  But as far as electricity I never once have had issues with paperclips.  Only issue with ATX psu is if you use wrong holes.

How to guess the correct holes if not ?

There is no guessing.  Use a good guide follow it.  If you are guessing that is bad.

Most you can follow a guide and its easy because of the color of wires.  Others if not colored  you have to count to find.

At this point with your questions I highly suggest getting a switch and not doing wire.   To ask about guessing holes makes me worry for you if you don't  just buy a switch.

Yes you will see a green and black wire that are being used:http://www.seasonic.ru/tech-support/jump-start/

With all the questions in the threads I honestly think you should go with a psu  switch.    I think some of the information about this method seems to be lost in translation for lack of a better turn.

wiring components and testing in PSU it's hot but additionally it's not necessary but normally the PSU  have to connect with the main Line powered mother board and plug the components.

Are you saying normally the motherboard cable is plugged in?

If so that was true long ago with GPU rig's.  But today a lot of the asics do not have a motherboard plug.  You will have to use something to turn them on wether it be a switch or paperclip.
