Im surprised its not alluded to here in one of the stickies.. anyone have any answers about when this goes away? I have been using this forum pretty extensively for a few months now though mostly PM'ing, so my user class has remained constant. Its super annoying and I'm just wondering how long I need to deal with it.
Thanks and sorry if this is answered elsewhere but I didnt find any straightforward answers

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Here we really have a committed community.
Your only way to overcome your PM limits is to engage yourself more with bitcointalk.org community & post more constructive contribution. Wink

By the while, when looking for help remember start looking for sticky threads in the upper part of boards then to use forum search buttonWink

You can use an external search such as Google.

Use site:bitcointalk.org when searching. Example: "PM restrictions site:bitcointalk.org"
