What is the best way to cash out to USD?
I know of bitfloor ACH, but they require a copy of gov ID along with bank account info... is that safe?
Mt Gox seems to have complaints about speed of delivery right?

What is a good convenient (and hopefully not too expensive) way of cashing out?

I am not looking to cash out currently, but it seems that there are a lot of ways of putting USD into BTC, but harder to get it out...

If you want cheap, you will be using the banking system.  You don't use the banking system without providing identity.

It's your choice.   You do have options though.

i have never used the fastcash4bitcoins.com website, but I have used bitinstant.  The guys there have been very helpful

A teller at a bank messed up my deposit a little.  The bitinstant team was able to fix the transaction very quickly, and on the weekend too.

Some payout options have a fee because we have higher transaction costs associated with that particular options.  PayPal has a 1% fee and bank wires have a flat $25 fee; many options including Dwolla, check, and ACH have no fee.

The fee (if any), selling price, and net amount paid are all disclosed up front in black and white BEFORE you send your coins.  You get a guaranteed price and then only if you like what you see sends us the coins to complete the trade.

There is no obligation by creating a sales order so I recommend creating one just to test it out.
