Any thoughts on "GMX"?

Believe its a German email provider, only issue I have had is due to having multiple email accounts they sometimes shut it down and ask me to contact them.
Which I never get a response for but I was told they are secure.

Quite frankly, I've found that they all suck. I'd even be willing to pay for one if it was decent

Mail.com is easy to use IMO, I think it's owned by 1and1 a big domain provider too. They ask for a phone number in registration but they didn't ask for it to be verified in registration or during use/checking e-mails etc...

Keep in mind that any free email services are not going to be as reliable when it comes to your security as a paid service will be.

Openmailbox.org

https://www.openmailbox.org

Looks simple, no ads, loads fast, and dont have to wait 3 days for an e-mail to arrive like with AOL lol.

If you want rich features then you cant go wrong with googles gmail. Its probably the most popular and most secure. but if you want a far less feature rich experince and just want a mail then I would recommend either mail2tor if using tor browser regular or yandex. yandex is like gmail with a little less features and people claim it to be russias gmail.

How about following Satoshi NAkamotos path?
His original email was satoshin@gmx.com !
Personally I like gmx.com cause it just works without
requiring any personal info like phone number.
Just fill in the form with fake info and you're good to go.

I don't use gmail because I already have a gmail account. You are allowed more than one?

You can have more than one or you used to be able to have more than one. Connected one to my cell. and left two others without but when I went to create a new gmail account it wanted the phone number. I suspect they changed it.

i think the best free email services are yahoo or gmail.
and of course They are free and secure.
you  need to provide your phone number  for verification
