Might be worth getting one of these, like LTC had? But, i've not been able to find / think of a domain - someone already has most of the obvious ones registered?

Also we need a block explorer, I have a server to run it from, but not really enough time to set it up at the moment.

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

I can take applications for hostname.ppcoin.net where hostname is of the form 'ownername-servicebrandname'. Must have an operating service (i.e. no reservation) and reasonable reputation (i.e. scammers will be removed). Block explorer is a good candidate.

Static IP addresses only.

Thanks,

Haven't got around to that yet later on I would ask if anyone would like to have their full node's static ip included in source code or dns seeds.
Thanks,

Happy to ask for blockexplorer.ppcoin.net - would this be considered?

I am trust worthy, and, if you wish to note who owns what domain, could  I suggest something like domains.ppcoin.net might be nice with a list of what domains belong to who.

Also, other services that might make sense, is an electrum server, and, I think would be very nice if we had mail.ppcoin.net or somthing(?) but this would require a larger infrastructure, and imho a lot more trust than simple tools Smiley.

Sorry I cannot assign official looking names at the moment. You'd need to have owner name so that it's obvious to people who's running the service.
