Qora and Burst both seeing decent gains as a result of this news. Think the Burst team tweeted about it, so be sure to spread the word. Decentralised trading with BTC is on the horizon and Qora will be right there at the centre of it while other coins will be playing catch up!
Qora is at the center because Qbits is a Qora asset?

Qora is at the center because Qbits is a Qora asset? I'm still trying to make sense of the Qbits stuff, but that's something else. The thing I'm excited about is that Bitcoin has come a step closer to supporting Atomic Cross Chain Transfers (see thread here). Since Qora (and Burst) can already do that, it means there's a strong probability of large scale exposure if people can trade directly from one blockchain to another between Bitcoin/Burst/Qora without using an exchange.

Why no interest in SIAMS ATFunding asset on qora exchange ? when this asset was released i thought atomic cross chain transfer fees will go to ATFunding asset holders or iam wrong?

Regarding the poll integrate qora to bitshares, I have reached Bitshares team Cryptonomex, to explain me how Qora can be integrated. The only possible way - at the moment - to start a collaboration with Bitshares is by the below two options. Since BitShares currently does not offer cross-chain trading, you only have two options to have qora traded in BitShares: * Qora as a Market-Pegged-Asset: This would be an asset like bitBTC where witnesses publish the external price of Qora and people can borrow Qora from the network and trade it freely. You can take a look at https://bitshares.openledger.info/#/market/BTS_CNY to see how that would look. Advantages: * Free from any counterparty risk * Fully collateralized (via BTS) QORA tokens Disadvantages: * Depends on external price feed * Must convince witnesses to publish price feeds (unless you go for a "privatized" MPA) * Qora could be traded as an IOU by openledger, blocktrades or metaexchange. This would be the very similar approach to centralized exchanges, where people send their Qora to a 3rd party and get a tradable token on a 1:1 basis in the BitShares network. Example: https://bitshares.openledger.info/#/market/TRADE.BTC_BTS Advantages: * Easy to setup * 1:1 IOU tokens Disadvantages: * Involves counter-party risk with the "gateway" (solvency) * May involve higher fees So, based on the above, we should follow up with a poll to select how this will be done. But before we launch the poll, please read the above and if you have any questions please feel free to ask. We will soon release the version 0.24, a really stable version. Then, following the concerns that we have, we will try to push things forward by using Qrowdfund, a tool that we will release and allows everyone to kick-start his project. We are going to create several projects as Qora Team that will worth a few billions (in total) in order to achieve and establish a healthy community from people who will contribute and get rewarded for that. So, before we proceed on that, your thoughts are needed.

I have old Qora key but I can't recover my coins, what to do? You cannot recover the wallet with your seed? Is your seed the correct one? Do you recover any addresses at all? If you have the correct seed of the wallet that contains the address with your Qora coins, then when you launch the application for the first time it will ask you if you want to create a new wallet of recover from seed, there you will select recover from seed, enter the seed, set a password and it will recover the addresses and the coins in this wallet.Wait to be fully synchronized and then you will be able to use them again.

I have followed CIYAM since when he was at NXT and was always interested in his project. For quite sometime people have said Qora and Burst can do crosschain transactions and since I have a good chunk invested here, I would like to try it out. Is there instructions anywhere for how to do crosschain transactions?

Not sure if there are any step-by-step instructions depicting the actual wallets somewhere, but How does it work is a good start. You'll need both wallets (and currencies) if you're testing on your own, of course. great. I had an older wallet of Qora with older java. I updated to the latest java and the latest Qora client with the installer from the website. The installer was nice and easy, but then when I try to start it, it just freezes. sooooo, I guess I need to do something differently?

The current version unfortunately has some stability problems, there will be a new version soon that will fix most of the freezing/speed issues. We will release it most likely this week, maybe even today if everything runs fine.

Great, thanks for sharing! Perhaps we should consider to build a automatic daily blockchain download and send it to an upload service like mega.nz. is there a download link for complete Qora blockchain? i am having problems to sync Qora from start.

I am not sure, but for some reason the first approach sounds better to me.

MPA's don't come cheap, since it's additional work for our price feed providers and devs. IIRC, the price for adding an MPA is 1m BTS. An UIA with a market maker bot is probably cheaper
