Can I download PPC wallet from GooglePlay for Android?
I need a mobile wallet for paying something.

There is an unofficial wallet on there, but it is outdated and unsupported by the team. We are in the middle of developing one though...

https://talk.peercoin.net/t/update-10-new-sponsor-will-fund-development-of-peerassets-protocol-peerassets-compatible-multiplatform-light-wallet-for-both-mobile-desktop-concept-image-included/6693

Thank you.
;
PPC should be free from BTC. I see ETH market, Doge market, XMR market, LTC market, BNB market,  for PPC to grow I see the chance that PPC will go to the top 10 on marketcap. Has anyone been able to build exchange market pair with PPC?

Any updates on new peercoin website ?

A plan is laid out for it. We're starting talks with a web team. That's all we can report for now, but it is progressing.

the coin had been released for so long,
bump and dump so hard, I mean really hard just in a month,
I don't think this project have a chance to gain user trust back
unless they (develop team) change something good way and had massive marketing
Sad( so sad but I had to admit that.
I still buying cause I want to support. . .

I don't see what the problem is. Practically everything in crypto has gone down in value over the past month. We have released our long-term roadmap for Peercoin and we're also working on new wallets, PeerAssets, Indicium and a website redesign. Lots of stuff in the pipeline. Nothing has changed. It takes time, but we'll get there.

PPCoin coins are the mode of POW+POS.
It is POS (1%). Not only can get mining coins, can also get POS cash coin age receive interest. This model has advantages.

I fully agree with Sentinelrv here. The reason Peercoin dropped from the top-10 to the ranks around ~100 is not the fault of the current development team. The problem was the time before, when Peercoin lost traction after receiving almost no development for 3 years or so. New "momentum" should come when the PeerAssets platform - including Indicium, of course - is fully operational.

By the way, I like the current website design. It's clean and well branded. So I hope not to see eventually one of the typical "sh!tcoin" websites with fancy JavaScript animation stuff and nice skyscrapers (that are probably mostly bank bulidings - weren't we here to fight banks instead of copying them?).

No skyscrapers, I promise!  Smiley

What we really want to do is add a lot more detail about what Peercoin is and communicate it through text and graphic visualizations. Color theme will be similar, but with more emphasis on brighter colors like white and green to convey the idea of a chain that is both lightweight and efficient. Darker and heavier colors will be toned down.

I agree but also consider for months the team was focused on the v0.6 release as well as rolling out important announcements such as our roadmap. Now that those things are out of the way, we have more time to focus on projects like this.

The team is  a very professional highly skilled group a lot of,potential peercoin investors aren't in peercoin because of  lack of general excitement about peercoin which i feel because of,slow moving lack of information as too, what's coming being presented in an enticing way peercoin is,great coin with great future we need too do more generate excitement about what's in peercoins future we should be top 20 coin not number 150

we need too see the new website
I don't agree that is a top priority. PeerAssets and Indicium, followed by Cold Minting, should be the top priorities.

I know Pump and Dump groups love rebrandings and new websites, and other things like fake partnerships, but basing a coin's value on these minor issues is not sustainable at all. And Slack ... ok, it's a popular chat platform, but why should cryptocurrencies use these centralized platforms?

BTW: Peercoin was mentioned in the Austrian newspaper "Standard" as a possible ecological Bitcoin competitor, along with Cardano, Ethereum, Iota, Dash and RIpple ...  see here. That is the kind of publicity Peercoin needs. Standard is a newspaper with an audience comprised in part of Greens and environmentalists - a good target audience for PPC - and Austria is well known for its easy Bitcoin access (you can buy BTC at post offices there). Why shoud PPC not try to get traction there?

There's no SPV wallet, afaik there are practical problems to port SPV wallets like Electrum to Proof of Stake. The blockchain is small though.

What's status of new website

I have written up full instructions for the website and we have hired a web team to develop it. I’m currently waiting on them to produce me a mockup.

peercoin should have a slack I've be n saying that for a while now

We are going with Discord instead of Slack. Dash community originally used Slack but were forced to move to Discord because it was setup for business use and not community management. Discord also supports voice chat. It has been setup for a couple months, but I have had little time to get familiar with it, which is why there has been no official announcement yet.
