I won it in poker, and it started growing from there. After I accumulated some Bitcoin, I bought some asic mining rigs and mined for a while. Now I just lease them out. Much more money that way.

Lets see...

I mined about 0.000001 and then I "bought" bitcoin.
I mined altcoins on launch and then traded them later for bitcoin. They were fun times, but now I just use my signature campaign to pay me. Mostly because altcoins have no innovation anymore. Sad

This post earns me 0.0013 btc. Its a pretty good rate.

I think that did really depend on when you bought your hashrate (at what price).

Nowadays I think buying cloud mining hashrate isn't really profitable anymore (or the price has to be really low). But months ago there were some possibilities to get a nice ROI. (Referring to in example the ZenCloud cloudmining).

I had no choice but to buy because when I arrived in btc the price for miners was and still is to expensive for me to even think about, plus not profitable enough. I managed to buy enough that I can trade and make some extra over this time managed to make profit so I have more than I started with and I am not hear to become rich from btc I already have a day job, just a hobbie for me.

Yes this is like a sidejob but you can still earn it by saving some of your salary to invest in it so you can get both, from your real job and from your investment in bitcoin. There is nothing to lose here and you can earn from both side but you still need to see their market to control the price so you wont get any loss

At the initial stage i would prefer to buy the bitcoins rather than mining it as i would love to increase my wallet by having maximum number of bitcoins and then in future as i have enough capital in my hand i would start mining it and that would be the best to do.

I bought bitcoins and then started growing it. I haven't been to mining yet but lets in future would start mining. But at present the only thing want to do is to keep on growing my bitcoins so in future if the prices climbs up then would sell it earn good profit from it.

When I entered into BTC the only option I had was to buy it and I bought btc and started to grow and at present I have good amount of btc in my wallet and looking for some more investments in btc as this is the right time to invest as the prices have gone down.

most likely altcoin "investments". these can explode in price from time to time. if not, then i also want to know how you made $100 with only 5 bucks.

$5 worth of btc could be grown even up to a hundred dollars. Smiley The most logical investment there is would probably be the altcoin trading scene. There are coins that shoots up prices up to a thousand times in a short span of time, and it is likely to be a pump coin. However, it would be too dangerous to get in once a coin started boosting up in price rapidly because you don't know whether the pump will stop or not.

But that is just a newbie talk and why did you guys believe it he doing in from altcoin? I guess he get it from ponzi because the payment is good but the chance of getting scammed is thousand %, may be he is one of the lucky guy to make it out there

I think it is really possible from altcoin trade indeed, although you need some luck. By succesfull daytrading / short term trading you can make some extra bucks easily. You just need some luck that you invest in the right coin (at the right moment). You might be lucky enought to stake some altcoins that are getting pumped soon or later (and then you need to be lucky enough to sell it at the right moment.  I've made some money and lost some money on altcoin trading - in the end you should take a profit as soon as it's a nice profit (and don't wait for an huge increase in value - as you will probably end up with nothing).

I guess that alt trading is not based on luck, it is based of information gathering, the more information you can get the more profit you will get because you know whether this alt coin is worth to pump or not. Information of altcoin is the right thing to get if you want to start earning from altcoin. Luck is just about 5-10%
