Even if we'd sell the full 10000, we would continue the pre-orders soon. We would simply move the delivery date for the next 10000. We can safely promise shipping in June for that amount but the next batch would need to be July.

I must say though your holograms look like a copy of  Casascius.

We use the same hologram manufacturer as Casascius and we decided to do it the easy way for the first model. We've basically used the template for Casascius holograms and modified it for our coin.

For our series 2 coins in the future we will design a more unique hologram. We have also pretty unique ideas for the graphics on the coin itself.

Finally, a clarification on the serial numbers. We have decided that the first 20 orders of series L and series E are given 1 coin with number between 1-20. From number 21 the coins are delivered in the sequence of orders made (so if customer #1 orders 10x series L coins, they will be numbers 1 and 21-29). After the first batch of 2000 coins the serial numbers for each order will be random.

Pre-order starts on Monday at 12:00 UTC. Good luck everyone!

Small clarification regarding the first 20 serials of both series. These are allocated 1 serial per unique customer. So don't attempt to make multiple orders quickly in an attempt to get many of them. However coins from 21 to 2000 will be allocated in the sequence of orders coming in. Coins after #2000 will be allocated at random.

EDIT: The same customer CAN get a low serial from both series, E and L. That is allowed.

Shipping costs differ based on where we ship and they are not included. In the FAQ there is a general overview of the costs however you will get an exact cost in the shopping cart once pre-orders start.

I think there weren't 300+ orders processed in 3 minutes. and yes coins were available about minute after end of countdown. Got order 347.

Some countries have reportedly had abnormally expensive postage fees, we're working hard to fix all of that. Most recent fix was UK, where you can now order up to 20 coins with a cheap postage method.
