The colours are a bit dull here. You can change the colour to whatever you need.
   

I'd give hex color #8a7dbe a shot. It's the color I used in the below designs and it's the same color as the base of the dadice website.

Here's are a few mockups. They all use the 3:2 avatar dimension ratio so they can be shrunk to perfectly fit the current Avatar area.

Also if possible try inverting the colors, like white bg and red/blue/green in place of the white. I think it will look neat.

We also like devthedev's design well.
But unfortunately his designs were withdrawn.

It was very difficult to select and rank the winners, so we made everyone win something.
