We want to inform everyone for the upcoming downtime, which will hopefully not last more than a week.

Due to the great advertising opportunities that came true thanks to the opening of Mellowads.com, we feel that there is no more need that we offer unique CPC and unique CPC network campaigns (adflows) - you can just use them as they are big enough, and offer the lowest possible fee - no fee at all. We're also happy to use their great platform for our partners websites which btw are about to increase soon. We know how hard it is to run an advertising network, so we wish them good luck with handling everything.

So we are preparing a major update, which will combine our bitcoin directory and advertising platform in one, add a new category which would allow referral links, and completely change the way it will work.
As a sneak peek we are just going to say that it will no more sort the top sites by payed votes. The sorting will be based only on the number of unique visitors that we manage to bring you thanks to our network of partner websites. You will be able to promote your website by buying share of the total daily views. The price will not be set, just a very small minimum, so if there is not much interest you will be able to get 50000+ views daily for like 0.0001 btc per day. There will even be a 10% share of the views for all of the free posted links+banners. Publishers will have a guaranteed share of the network pool even if it's small, based on the impressions that they provide.

All of the old votes which everyone had, will be transformed in up to 30 days free shares for advertising in our network. More details about that in the coming days.

With these changes we really hope that we will bring a lot of traffic to our users, and guaranteed profits for our partners.

Finally the changes are mostly done, and the site is up again!

We now have a universal 468x60 adspace currently displayed at 5 websites and available to be displayed by whoever wants to become a partner (he will be payed for that of course, daily, if there is any payed ad for the day). On this adspace anyone can publish free or payed ads.

Payed ads are displayed in that banner in 90% of the time, depending on their daily share.
If there are two payed ads worth 0.0001 and 0.0002 btc each, the first gets 30% share of the total network and the 2nd one - 60%.

All free ads are displayed in the remaining 10%. If there are no payed ads, all ads are displayed randomly.

Starting from tomorrow all payed votes from the old site will be converted into shares for 30 days.
This means that if you had 5% of the total votes that all sites had, now you will have a 5% share of all impressions in our network.

By the weekend we will open the "promote" functionality so that you can buy or increase your shares.

This month the network pool will be at least 0.011 btc daily because of the distribution of the old votes. This basically works like the Network campaign in Mellowads, but the CPM should be a lot cheaper. The less people pay to advertise, the cheaper it is - up until 50k daily views for 1 satoshi

We hope that the Promote page is clear enough (ask if not), in the table you can immediately see for any price how much will be your share of total impressions as well as expected views of your ad.

Another update guys - "Publishers" functionality is now ready and working.

Just open the "Partners" page and follow the 3 easy steps there.
Every partner wins a part of the total daily bitcoin pool, which can be seen in table "Network information" for the next 7 days.
Until 29th we will have served about 1.5 million impressions only this month, as a compensation for our old top sites which were using the old voting system.

I think the best method is to allow people to choose their own withdrawal amount (i.e., no minimum), and just charge the transaction fee. That way if someone wants to withdraw 0.0003, they can, and you still aren't losing money by doing this often.

I think the best method is to allow people to choose their own withdrawal amount (i.e., no minimum), and just charge the transaction fee. That way if someone wants to withdraw 0.0003, they can, and you still aren't losing money by doing this often.

Currently we covered the network fee, so if someone chooses to withdraw 0.0003, we should have payed 0.0001 which is 33% fee. But we think you are right that we should not restrict people, so we will just let them pay that fee themselves and withdraw whenever thay have more than 0.0001. So this will be implemented today.

By the way, Blockchain.info removed their weird ban on our ip after 4 days waiting, just before we were going to change them. The result was that the network pool got doubled and now we have more partners so the unique network views also doubled. Our cheap ad prices finally seem to attract more advertisers.

The next thing that we are considering to implement are specific country targeted advertising. Any ideas and wishes are still welcome, as the logic is still not constructed.
