So, they locked their main thread and their recovery thread.  I am still getting some sort of dust payment every now and again.

Yap, these guys have closed down the shop long time ago. Sorry for your loss but you need to ask for more info before investing into non-transparent websites.

The dust payment is so that you can't sue them, since they're still fulfilling their contract and they're still paying you something.
The only one that got out of this is AirWolf, who extorted them for 200 BTC. All of the others got burned.

They are not fulfilling the contract as you get random payments, not for all the contracts. Check the payment date.

I actually started with 10 GH/s on PBmining back in mid-2014, last time i checked, i made profit. Websites like PBMining are just Ponzi, same ponzi but different system, instead of sending bitcoins to address and waiting for others, you just send to your account on these "cloud mining" websites and wait for the website to die slowly, you'll get your bitcoins until that happens so; Ponzi. Never.

You can just exploit it by participating in its giveaways and whatnot, just don't dump shittons of money into it. You can put in a bit just when it starts, since the ones who start in a Ponzi will nearly always be the winner.
