Don't know if this has been posted, I think not (or I couldn't find it). Definitely worth checking out. I really like the girl that became a BTCpreneur as well Smiley.

"In a nutshell, the network works like a distributed timestamp server, stamping the first transaction to spend a coin. It takes advantage of the nature of information being easy to spread but hard to stifle." -- Satoshi

Yanis at work again.. with his very ambiguous style. He seems to like the idea behind it, but doesn't really take a solid position. Would he use it? Never replies that one. He probably owns some, secretly.

if he owns bitcoins then he might even be more willing to bring his idea's to work. at the end people mostly look for personal gains. don't think he is any different.

Given his political views, it's not on his best interest to say publicly that he owns Bitcoins, he wouldn't benefit from that.

As a political figure he has to to mostly look for the personal gains of his president and his country, there is no room for personal cares in politics of course this doesn't apply for corrupt politicians. I think Yanis is really interested in the bitcoin protocol and he would like to implement nationwide in Greece but there are too many concerns and problems of doing it.

Bitcoin would not be a good solution for Greece economy. Bitcoins are highly deflationary. Greece economy however needs a highly inflationary currency to get back in business again. Syriza should set up a own coin with a yearly inflation rate of 10% to 20%.

There is no point to make a new currency for Greece, none would buy, sell or trade it since it would be super inflated. Bitcoin is a better alternative because it is accepted worldwide and has a huge support.
