Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Thanks Mate ...

It is merely a daemon replacement IF the dependencies are exactly the same as the original compile. You may need to ReIndex (-reindex) the blockchain is it needs it, but other than that, the only reason you would want to restart the sync (which is VERY fast now - a few hours at most) is if you want a clean fresh sync and condensed blockchain.

Cryptopia have finished the update and have a full sync on their on their end, with the OZC/BTC market open again as of late yesterday (Adelaide - South Australia Time).

We are working on the HardFork and updates to the new OZC wallet and features.

We have relaunched!

Owing to the large amount of claims being made with valid but fake email addresses, you will now receive a Claim Validation Link in the notification email once you make a claim. You MUST validate your claim using this link within 60 Minutes or the claim will expire.

We have updated balances for both EMC2 and OKCash so feel free to submit your claim! We still have some work to do on the coin modules so if you can recommend any updates please drop me a DM.

We did aswell! Seems we were getting a large amount of traffic, probably bots getting angry about the new authentication method.

There seems to be a bug with the mail server perhaps...

I can only receive 2-3 verification mails where I can validate my claims.
After the second or sometimes third email, they simply stop arriving to my inbox and the other 1 or 2 claim validation mails arrive only after some hours (when the claim has become invalid) - at first I thought this was maybe just server lag or a small temporary issue but it has been 5 straight days of claims now where only the first 2 claims trigger an email, then no more emails arrive until its too late. Doubtful its an issue on googles side, chances are more likely that its an issue on CG Smiley

Maybe worth investigating unless there is some cool down period between claims I am not adhering to and this behavior is intended...

EDIT: I usually claim all 4 coins once per day in quick succession. The first two emails todays triggered normally, then the third one did not arrive, before i did the 4th claim (of OKCash) I waited 3 minutes, and then I did that claim - validation email instantly arrived in my inbox - however EMC2 validation email which I did 3 minutes before (which was in quick succession, some seconds after OZC claim) - has still not arrived and wont until its too late as described above... So perhaps the current workaround is to wait 2-3 mins per claim - Ill try that tomorrow and report back once more.

Thankyou for bringing this up and for the feedback. We did notice before we implemented email authentication that on some occasions emails where being sent with delay to our test addresses but after tweaking it seemed all was resolved - Clearly not.

We will look into this once again and try to replicate and resolve the issue. If anyone else reading this has the same issue please let us know.

Today I claimed again but with brief intervals between each of the 4 available claims and paid more attention to whats going on, here are my latest findings; if it helps Smiley

I took the following base steps: I claimed each of the coins, one by one, claiming, then verifying via email, and then moving on to the next coin.
If the verification email didn't arrive within a minute or so, i simply moved on to claiming the next coin. Claim order: DMD, OZC, EMC, OK

I got the first (DMD) and third (EMC) verification emails instantly, the second (OZC) email took roughly 3 minutes to arrive (wierd right, since i claimed that before EMCHuh) and fourth (OK) verification mail arrived about 3 minutes later as well.

So regarding my last post, probably nothing to do with the time between claims or the order of claiming, whether verifying one before claiming the next etc, and the mails did all arrive in under 5 minutes this time, which is not the same issue i had in the previous days where the time was over an hour.

So it might be something really random and perhaps on the hosting / provider side even, what i'm still confused about is how/why the 3rd claim email arrived before the second....Mails are queued and sent in order they were placed, or that's how i thought mail servers did things... So this is quite intriguing! Cheesy

Either way, thanks for the updates, great work and keep it up! Smiley

Thanks for the lovely payments and updates Smiley

Just a random question regarding that 51% attack on GRN, since some exchanges already removed it, will you be removing this coin as well from the site now (i presume), since it is no longer a coin anyone can believe in. (not that it has any balance anyway xD)

granite (GRN) is a coin in development ...

After the rebase and HardFork of OZC, and the stable CodeBase is tested, GRN will be next with the same CodeBase, as will SWEEP then INFX and finally DRZ.

We (CWI) are working with Cryptopia with the delisting and as such, rebasing GRN along the same route that OZC takes. I cannot speak on behalf of CryptoGiveAways, but I can assure you that you call it a coin that 'no one believes in', yet I get PM's and messages on a consistent level about GRN and the coins we have in our development schedule. So your opinion is yours to have, but please don;t state something that is completely false, especially when you are speaking FOR and on BEHALF of those people you consider to be 'anyone'.

In fact, Cryptopia themselves said they are not delisting GRN, unless we cannot come with a development soon for it. We can only work so fast, and with OZC being the first and GRN second in the development schedule, we will work to the best of our ability to make this all happen in a stable and consistent manner.
