Thank you!  Smiley

Please remove permissions for this guy.

He is a Scammer. Operates https://bit-mix.com/, https://bitpide.com/, and a host of other sites that imitate Coinbase and steal fiat using PayPal.

He has been given write permissions to the bitcoin.it wiki and links to his scam sites from there.

All taken care of, thanks

Hello there,
Just registered on the wiki (silentgwad) as I noticed there isn't any page about bitcoin debit cards yet. I would definitely appreciate to have editing rights in order to create a comprehensive list of all actors in the space.
Disclaimer: I'm the CEO of Coinizy and we offer a virtual card that can be loaded using Bitcoins (  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1624128.0 / https://www.coinizy.com )
Thanks

Wiki user Dewnote (https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/User:Dewnote) is an alias of banned user Petropolm (https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/User:Petropolm). This user constantly updates https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/How_To_Buy_Bitcoins_With_Your_Credit_Card with their scam site(s). Note the similarities between the site Petropolm added (https://bitpide.com/) and the site Dewnote added (https://badycoin.com/). Bitpide has also had its text changed around to reference Badycoin, the domains just point to the same site.

Here are screenshots of each site in their current state in case he tries to edit them:

Note the domain in the Chrome address bar. The scam here is that when you make a payment with PayPal, it goes through as a personal payment and you are unable to dispute the charge when he does not deliver the BTC you paid for.

If you have been scammed by any of this user's sites (bit-mix.com, bitpide.com, or badycoin.com) call PayPal immediately and explain that the charge is fraudulent and that you would like to be put through to their fraud department. Unfortunately, many of the PayPal custom service agents will tell you that there is nothing they can do as it is a personal payment which have no buyer protection. Fortunately, they also have no seller protection and you will be able to get your money back as long as you talk to the fraud department. It's a shame that more of the service reps don't know / mention this.

Thank you for this report, it is no longer possible to put any of those three links on the wiki and the offender was blocked again.
