 I have been watching the market for a few days,and no matter how much people dump the price stays strong,distribution is looking more fair now,and this coin seems to  have support,all the cheap coins get eaten up,interested to hear your views on this market? as normally new coins just get dumped and dumped and people move on to the next 1.what's going on here? also i normally  wouldn't touch a coin with a pre mine like this,andyour not the  but i keep getting drawn back to it ha ha.

I think this one is doing better than most new launches because of the company behind it. I haven't been able to uncover anything scammy with the dev or company. It all looks legit as far as I can see. I'm just watching and waiting for them to make their next move.

Looks like the difficulty re-adjust algo is screwy. I see the same amount of net hash and yet the diff jumps and drops. Now it looks like its stuck above 300.

Okay, so let me, the Suprnova Pool up, give you, the "Dev" some info about how retarget works.

In your code you have this:

This calculates difficulty, block time and retarget.

As stated in your OP, the coin should have 1 minute block time, but in your code you have

https://github.com/ieccoin/ieccoin/blob/master/src/main.cpp#L1101

which means you roughly "look" at the last 5 minutes and then you do

https://github.com/ieccoin/ieccoin/blob/master/src/main.cpp#L1103

which means you are doing

300 / 60 = 5

So you retarget every 5 blocks, which is bad, you want to retarget every block.

What you WANT is probably something like this:

https://github.com/ieccoin/ieccoin/blob/master/src/main.cpp#L1101    change to 1*60 so you have

60/60 = 1 at the formula.
