What was the listing even offering?

It was offering 250 mystery boxes @ $99 each for sale with gadget / electronic contents worth $500.

It seems that the website itself is now down for maintenance: https://www.webmediahouse.net/

And the page with details of the promotion is down also: https://www.webmediahouse.net/special-offer/mystery-box/

EDIT: It also looks like the associated Facebook, Twitter and Google +1 pages have also been removed.

Yes it certainly seems that way now but it looked like a legit operation when I had a nose around. Strange how it was shut down so quickly.

DEAD (as of this posting):
https://www.facebook.com/webmediahouse
https://twitter.com/webmediahouse
https://plus.google.com/+WebMediaHouseNet

LIVE (as of this posting):
http://www.webbuddies.net/
https://www.linkedin.com/company/webbuddies-net
https://www.linkedin.com/company/web-media-house
https://uk.linkedin.com/in/webmediahouse

I'm trying to wrap my head around this whole "reputation" thing when LinkedIn shows the companies (Web Media House & WebBuddiesNet - A Division of WMH) with 0 actual employees (you do not count) and in multiple places on WebBuddies.Net you reference statements like: "Here are a few companies some of our buddies have worked for", and "We have a unique blend of talent that allows us to offer such a diverse range of services."  Get your "buddies"/employees hooked up to your LinkedIn company page if you want to be viewed as reputable on that front.

I have to wholly agree with the seasoned posters as this is very fishy and I'm shocked that your webbuddies.net website is one single page.  This is besides the fact that since the start of this thread you have downed a couple social media pages which were representing your company and have neglected to use escrow.  There are a lot of things wrong with this OP.

Looks like everything down or going down and been removed must hit target and succeeded in scam or moving on to another scam and new account with different BS to draw people in to paying out for boxes with nothing in them. Buying stuff like this you get what you ask for.

If anything seems to good to be true, then it is.
Scam attempts are nothing new here but they're so blatant that they're easily spotted.
