London stakes its claim as global bitcoin hub

http://www.reuters.com/article/2015/04/15/us-currency-bitcoin-london-insight-idUSKBN0N622320150415

London, center of the $5-trillion-a-day global currency market, now wants to be home to a controversial upstart - bitcoin.

British authorities have come out in support of digital currencies in the name of promoting financial innovation, while proposing that regulations should be drawn up to prevent their use in crime.
Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

I actually prefer London being the head honcho over New York city in the bitcoin world at this point. Just stay away from the US and things might stand a chance.

Let the 'old school' establishment try to play with Bitcoins. Do they really understand how little control they will have over their new toy?
