“Spring Portfolio Cleaning. Fees reimbursed at the end of the month.

Nova headquarters is located in Sweden, which is quite a very cold place. Recently though, we have felt spring in the air.
So, Great Nova traders and trolls, spring clean your portfolio in March, We have great news, if your March Trading volume is more than 0.2 btc accumulated you get all your trading fees back minus any referrals paid out at the end of the March. Hello zattackie,

The website domain may be not available, I would need to check this.

The Californium server might also need to be hosted, I can use my existing coin server to
do this for the community.
My own coin is Bank Society Coin, scrypt based with PoS, PoW staking and Masternodes.

Discord Channel is here, if interested:
https://discord.gg/HAbTQhd

I'll get back to everyone very soon.

Cheers

Jimmy

I'm with you. I think rare vintage crypto will be worth a lot in the future just like other collectibles.

But I don't think we need to change the name or consensus method or add new features.

I think we keep it simple. Get the website back up and update the code to keep up with Bitcoin Core releases.

We just gotta keep the project alive, the fact that it is one of the oldest is our biggest strength that can never be copied - let's just focus on that.

Everyone,

There are Californium domains available, but not the californium.info domain.

There are the following domains available:

Californium.co                  ( Looks like the best one** )

     Californium.live

     Californium.online

In the meantime, I'll download the source and get my VPS running californium.

If you want to chat email me at dev@banksociety.co

Regards

Hi all

It seems that the coin stopped receiving new blocks....

If you have an explorer, a list of nodes, or anything else we should know about this coin, please update us on support@novaexchange.com and we will make sure to keep the coin on our platform.

If no new blocks are received in the following days, we are going to delist.

Thanks everyone Smiley Happy trading and HODL!

Someone can pass me upgraded nodes my wallet does not sync.

Here is website for the blockchain explorer for Californium    https://prohashing.com/explorer/Californium/

Here is list of live node for Californium  to connect to, Pick all the ones that have inbound : true

Run your full node for few days so your system has list of all the live nodes. Not all are running every time. So it is good to have as many live node connection or sometimes live connection as possible. Off course if you run some mining operation for few days everyone would know your IP and next time as soon as you get on you can sync.

Anyone still reading this forum?

The coin is dead in the water, which is a pity, as I have been mining this coin for over a year:(

I would be interested as a coin dev to restart this coin, but let's face it, the coin needs to be
fully restarted with new technology. As it would effectively be a new coin, then we could arrange a swap
facility to get everyone with coins over to the new coin.

So how will I do this?

STEP one    -> Download existing Californium code, build a server and wallets

STEP two    -> Start the server on a VPS so that you can synch Californium and trade coins.

STEP three  -> Create a new coin with similar properties, but new features, PoW, PoS, Masternodes, etc

STEP four    -> Swap existing Californium coins to new coins.

Let me know if you are interested.

Otherwise this will be another dead project.

I think it is a great idea. Except I don't agree with anything that will make the Californium centralized. That is Masternode etc. Changing to PoS would or any centralization effect would make it less likely to take off.
Since Californium is similar to Bitcoin getting on VPS more trading platform to start more trading is the key so it would be more profitable to mine it. The key is getting other people aware of this coin and creating justified interest.

With Californium you can still Solo mine. You can also setup a stratum for your self to mine or open it for everyone else to mine.

We need set up an exchange platform

Nothing fancy.. Basically exchanging Californium with BTC  not large amounts.
There is this
https://github.com/sb-/OpenExchange
it is basically exchange set up using Python between LTC and BTC
it is in Python. It looks like it can be modified to do Californium and BTC

If anyone interested and had knowledge it would be great to share

Yobit is not letting trading on Californium anymore.
Altcoin exchanges are going out of business.

SORRY UNDERCONTSTRUCTION New CALIFORNIUM CRYPTO  exchange is now available

https://www.californiumcrypto.com UNDERCONSTRUCTION. for improved security after a hack made it necessary

This site currently only exchange BTC and CF or CF to BTC
CF= Californium
BTC= Bitcoin

The site has API function
Chat function
Support
Affiliate program

It has become necessary to set up this exchange since Yobit has stopped accepting deposit for Californium. Yobit does not reflect the value of this crypto currency. My guess is they are just trying to make the value artificially low by not allowing exchange of Californium

Thanks
