AWWW .. everything is taunting me to get mining gear again .. sold last GPUs which mined DRK in December, and now OK has own pool. Not even the crappy piggy back onto (old days speaking here) waffle or hashco.ws ..

Travesty what junk gets attention and OK gets neglected. Rome was not built in a day .. as they say ..

Stake Everything.  Grin

Congrats on getting Bitcoin Rush to mention OK.

Thanks very much, Bitcoin Rush is the Best Crypto News Show out there, we feel pretty honored as well Smiley

I can't connect to this stratum. for sha stratum+tcp://stratum.nicehash.com:3334

Edit.  Nevermind.  I was a knuckle head.  White space in the btc username.  Grin

Glad it got fixed Wink Thanks for the awesome support, Happy mining!

people are just lost as one of the best coins with the hardest working devs is right here, and where is the support around here, bunch of BS people this is the next bitcoin but slow and steady until were ready for the take over  Grin

It always happens, people get caught on the hypes but with time they learn and look for serious projects, so it gives us time to continue develop, invite community and/or developers to start creating markets, services or new businesses around OKCash, while we continue to grow the infrastructure and fulfilling our roadmaps so we can make OKCash more easy to use, comfortable, accessible and reliable to every new user that gets to know about the OKCash technology and decides to give it a try.   Thanks for your support!

OK is open-source; its design is public, nobody owns or controls OK and everyone can take part.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

OKCash is ZeitCoin of last year ..

.. made no sense to me why Zeit was not getting more love (after big pump from 1 to 14 satoshi and subsequent robbery by Mintpal, which ended it before Summer 2014) .. After a year of staking, it all made sense and now Zeit is up about 10x.

OK is the Doge of PoS and ZeitCoin of this year .. I have seen the light, again  Grin

Hello.  I am new to this community and when I visted the ANN i saw a multipool.  I was curious, so I started mining there.  The process could not have been smoother.  So 12 hrs (give or take a few minutes) mining with 1 Bitmain S5 (1155GH/s or 1.155 TH/s).  Netted me 11,703.94500000 $OK.  I have pasted the contents of this image below the image in code form, so you can verify if you want too.  Feel free to ask me questions about the experience.

It is nice to see the multipool being used. Me and OKToshi had spoke about this for a couple days and decided to go forward with the build. Hopefully after you sharing your experience more and more people will join the pool. I am also interested in getting a miner to add to it. Although I have no experience mining  Huh Huh

WORD IS SPREADING ABOUT BITCOIN AND OKCASH IN AFRICA

May 16th 2015 - Ejisu, Kumasi Ghana, Africa

As a part of our continued commitment to community and education focused initiatives, OKCash is pleased to be included in the upcoming seminar “Introduction to Bitcoin and Okcash” on June 6th 2:00 GMT at the QueenCity Restaurant‏ in Ejisu, Kumasi Ghana, Africa.
Funding for the event has generously been provided by Cryptoavenue.com

The event will first provide local residents, students and small business owners with a basic introduction to Bitcoin and go on to introduce OKCash, providing insight into Proof of Work (POW) and Proof of Stake (POS) cryptocurrencies, similarities and differences, instruction on practical uses including remittance within Africa and internationally, and the potential of cryptocurrencies to improve local businesses through both online sales and point of sale payments.

The speakers at the seminar, Asumin Richmond and Agyenim Boateng Boniface, first heard of Bitcoin at a seminar organized by 'Africa Youth Peace Call (A.Y.P.C), and participation in other Bitcoin related local events led them to start a group page on Facebook called ''Afriworks'' which became a platform to advertise local products and accept payments for Bitcoin, which, in turn, led them to form BitUnit.

The seminar will be the first event organized by BitUnit, a new grassroots initiative, which has the short term goal of spreading awareness of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies to the masses through education, and the long term goal of encouraging acceptance of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies all over Ghana, the rest of Africa and beyond.

OKCash is a Proof of Stake (POS) cryptocurrency, with a focus on improving accessibility for the global community to resources and information regarding the advantages of decentralized payment systems, and developing positive innovation to simplify payments across social networks and everyday payments for all.

For further information please visit http://communityevents.okcash.co
or email communityevents@okcash.co

Also please visit www.cryptoavenue.com whose sponsorship made this event possible.
