wait a bit more before judging, because some bad luck is expected(because antpool control a very tiny % of the network) between all those pool, if in 3 days(at max) you are still below the 0.004 earning per day then you can switch to another pool

Personally I like antpool better then Ghash.  Most I would say do as most have stopped using Ghash.

Assuming you had your S3 running all the previous 24 hours you should of got 109 percent (over 100 percent) because of luck.

One thing to keep in mind is one S3 is not a ton of hashing power it is most likely in range of 440 to 450 (If a S3+ possibly up to 500).  Lets assume you get 450 on your one S3 you should get around: 0.00475339 btc per day.  This will change soon as difficulty change is happening soon.  Good news is it's a negative difficulty change.

If you turn off S3 for 8 hours obviously you will not get credit for mining.   You essentially would only mine 2/3rds of a day.   You should not turn off because of luck, but because you will earn anything for down time.

I suggest taking a look over at the antpool FAQ.  I hope it can fill in some of what I feel again is being lost in translation.

First the pool is:   What's the lucky figure?
The earnings assigned by PPLNS mode with 0% fee. Under the same hash rate, the higher lucky figure the pool has, the more earnings you will be assigned.

If you turn off miner you have no hash rate, so no earnings.

no they are designed to run 0-24, just be sure your room has a good ambient temperature, and that the fans work at 50% speed at least, now that the summer is coming you should not keep them at less than 50%

Please read some of the links I posted.  It is the pool that has the luck, no you.  Your 1 S3 will not stop the pool from solving blocks.   Turning it off just stops your earnings, and your hash from going to pool.

Its based on how many blocks they solve, and in what time period.  If they solve quickly they can have a good day with higher luck.

If they have a bad day rounds take longer.  And this causes lower luck which could lead to less then 100 percent earnings.

I feel you are almost trolling at this point.  There is no problem with  minute miner being turned off.  You just will not make money mining.  Simple as that.

If miner=on you get BTC.  If miner=off you earn no btc.

It varies what depending on luck.  Right now I'm assuming you were using your S3 which if it does 440 GHs would get you 0.00475339 at 100 percent.

From that you can times it to figure out what 109 would be.

The S3 is not the most efficient miner at this point.  You need cheap electricity to make it work.   

With one S3 that is not a lot of power you will be making a small profit, if low electricity.   You would have to grow to get more money mined.  It's not a get rich quick scheme.  It takes time and lots of planning.

It seemed a few weeks ago they were over 100 most day's and was reallly good pay.  Right now it seems like a little bit of slower luck.

Currently they have: Pool Lucky (24H / 3D / 1W / 2W / 1M / 3M / All Time) : 67.00% / 87.00% / 100.00% / 102.00% / 105.00% / 102.00% / 102.00%

So 1 and 3 day are down a decent amount.

If a pool has a bad day.  You make LESS than 100 percent if you use a pool that payouts are based on luck.

But on other side on good days you can make MORE thank 100 percent.  But overall it should equal 100 between the two.

It did have some amazing luck for quite a while.  I know I mined there and enjoyed it.   And they are not doing bad on luck I just got spoiled with good luck.

They have dropped in last 24 hours.  Yesterday at some point i was looking at it i was thinking i saw around 129 or so percent for 24 hours.

Now it shows: Pool Lucky (24H / 3D / 1W / 2W / 1M / 3M / All Time) : 96.00% / 107.00% / 95.00% / 105.00% / 103.00% / 102.00% / 102.00%

So  still up in most places, but 24 hours is 4 percent down from 100.   So not that bad overall.  If you mined 3 day's there your 7 percent ahead.

S3 is just old tech at this point.  For those with very low electriity it's worth while.  But it is a small amount of hash.  I sold all my S3's before summer.

For most they will need a more efficient miner, and newer gen then S3.

Yes a year ago BTC  was worth quite a bit more.   But so were miners.   I would say miners have not dropped as much as BTC. 

But I can remember when a 1T Dragon was worth almost 4k.   Now its  worth around 1 BTC.   But ROI time has been extended quite a bit on most miners.
