Huobi's new service [caimao.com] allows people to mortgage their bitcoin to borrow CNY for buying and selling shares on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (the Shanghai Composite Index is up more than 125% in the past 12 months).

The service is initially available only for Chinese citizens but will soon be open to everyone, making it possible for anyone in the world to invest in Chinese equities, which was not possible before. Our future plans are to develop more pathways for capital to flow through bitcoin from anyone anywhere in the world to any financial market.

well it seems that after all china governments isn't preventing bitcoin to grow there, but that 60% it seems to big, it also mean a high interest to return presumably

It might have slipped my attention but I don't recall seeing any rates.

OK, that is not bad I suppose.
And is there a limit as to how much a person can borrow?
Or as long as their BTC covers it, the amount doesn't matter?

I suppose we probably couldn't lend 1 billion CNY, but certainly up to 10 million CNY we can lend.
