So me and my father (lft.Commander for what it's worth) Have had the idea of setting up "The Canadian Bitcoin Dealership"
Focusing only on Interac money transfers for the purchase and sale of bitcoins.
Ofcourse this service would only apply to Canadians due to the Interac money transfer factors, But i would like to know how the community feels about this before we goahead with such a site, I would assume a site simmilar to this might exsist, But if not then i assume we're gonna be making it.

Comments? Opinions? Both are welcome and wanted, Especially Nay-Sayers(provide reasons or gtfo)

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

I'm not voting, as I lack the background knowledge.

I think it's a great idea, but urge you to get some kind of legal counsel.

are you going to buy bitcoins, as well as selling them? also, where are you located? it would be nice if i could just walk over, transfer some bitcoins, and walk away with cold, hard cash.

It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.

By 'Interac' do you mean 'Interac Email Money Transfers' will be your method of payment?

A few people have had this idea already. I remember discussing it in #bitcoin-cad . Draft proposal is here and wiki page is here. However, that's more of a peer-to-peer exchange and is still in early planning phases..

You should also be aware that MtGox plans on offering easy CAD deposit and withdrawal within the next month or two, from what I've heard. Are you prepared to compete with them?
