Pickxel is a unique Bitcoin game that has been launched on April 25, 2015.
We worked to make the game straightforward and the website user-friendly, so anyone can easily understand how the game works and can play in less than 5 minutes.

How does it work?

We believe that the easier the game is, the more people are willing to play to it. Is there anything easier than making a click with your mouse?
This game is like treasure hunt, the game you played when you were a kid. Remember treasure maps? There were hidden treasures hidden in the map, and you had to work hard to find them. In the same way, we publish images regularly and you need to find the lucky pixel coordinates of great prizes.

Provably Fair?

We can prove that the game is provably fair by using Cryptographic Hash functions, in particular SHA-256. Here we explained in brief how it works

Pickxel is COMPLETELY transparent, you can exactly see who won at what time and you can see in real time who clicked on which pixel using the "Click History" feature.

Deposits/Withdrawals

Deposits are almost instant, they require just 1 confirmation (around 1-10 minutes). Withdrawals are instant if the amount you're trying to withdraw is available in the hot wallet otherwise (often for big amounts) they will be processed manually within 24 hours.

Referral System

By referring players to us, you will earn 10% of the click cost instantly each time the player clicks a pixel.

This is mostly true. We've designed the system in such way that if you click some pixel, other people that try to click the same pixel will get an error and they'll be asked to click on another pixel.

You can see click history by clicking the button at the left ("Clicks History"), you can see what exactly pixel people clicked. Don't worry, if you click a pixel that was already been clicked by another user you won't be credited for it, instead you'll get a popup saying that the pixel was previously clicked.
We might consider the idea of turning the tiles in another color if they are already clicked, thank you for input!

Yes, I correct myself. I was thinking at previous implementation of random number generation using Pseudo Random Numbers Generator.
Using Random.org API assures us that you have exactly the same % of winning if you click any pixel in the image, since the numbers are "generated" based on atmospheric noise.

You can choose the box number as you like there..seems that you only play in instantri.ch by clicking the "open box" tab. Yes if you just play by clicking it, it will make you choose the box randomly. but if you click the picture of the prize, you will be able to choose the box number as you want.
Just the same with Pixcel.com..nothing is different from the way we choose/click the box. maybe the difference is that in instanri.ch we can choose the box/block randomly.

It is just like a lottery game. You buy a ticket for cheap and hope to hit it big.  I think dice games have a higher variation than this.

I like it, it's definitely something different and completely based on luck, one cannot think of any strategies with this. Someone can take 100 shots at it and win nothing and someone could hit the correct pixel and win the grand prize at first try.

You can calculate probabilities easily, divide the number of prizes with the number of pixels of the image. You get the % of getting a winning pixel.

To get the % of winning ANY prize, you need to do a division between total prizes on the image AND total pixels on the image. The result you get with this simple division is what you want to know. With little BTC (0.00x) you could even win 1-1.5 BTC in some images. You just need some luck and perseverance.

Now, for ANY prize found by users, click cost will decrease proportionally to the prize value.
So, if anyone finds 0.01 BTC the click cost won't change much (but WILL change). If someone finds some big prize, say 0.5 BTC, the click cost will change significantly.

This is the correct way of doing the referral/affiliate program. Pay the people in their Pixkxel account according to the terms defined in the referral program and leave it up to them whether they want to play or cash-out.

The rate is of course quite high lowering it a bit could be better but at some time, the amount of boxes will decrease as people are not able to get the prize, thus this increase the chance to get the some prize. The newcomer image is good for the tryout but it is pretty much a low chance to get the prize

I would suggest you to make this newcomers image as the first promotion of your site. Total prize of this newcomers image is 0.31btc, its better to split it into more smaller prizes like 0.001, 0.002, 0.005 etc so user will get more chance to get the prize although only in small amount.
I think smaller prize with higher chance is more interesting rather than higher prize with lower chance.

Sounds like you are suggesting the game to never expire unless all prizes are claimed. That is my first idea as well, but then I realized it won't work well unless the site is very popular.
Take image #4 as an example, it is up for more than 2 days now, and only 121 squares out of 551 has been clicked. So it would probably take 10 days to get it all clicked. Or in other words, the players will need to wait for 10 days to finally know the unhashed prize string and to verify their bets. IMHO, that kind of wait is too long, and thus I think the current expiry  is good.

Seems reasonable. It is the way it works now with similiar algorithm but, as I said previously, players think that the price is too high for a click so maybe we should either improve our algorithm to automatically generate prizes (more prizes, less value) or change click cost mechanism like I said above so it starts low - increases at every pixel not found, decreases at every pixel that contains a prize.

I think you should keep the 0.0001btc/click image. It is good to be combined with the free/faucet image.

I'd say the faucet is useless for now, because players can't do anything from it except keep collecting/withdraw it.

Lets say someone get 30k satoshi from the faucet, he will only able to withdraw it..because if he want to play on the paid image he will need to collect/play more and more in the faucet.

If there is 0.0001/click image..I think he will spend his earning to play on it, although he will lose it...

I've updated the images with lower click cost and prizes to let anyone play. From now on, only small amount can be played.

I've tried to put two images, respectively 0.000198 BTC/click and 0.0002xx BTC/click, not even a click was made. That makes me wonder there is something there is something not working at all.

I dont think there is an effort needed to claim the "faucet" on your site because since you dont put in captcha before clicking on the "faucet" image , all the faucet licker needs is a simple auto clicker software to claim the "faucet" from your sites. Best thing to do is to put in 0.0002 minimum withdrawal with 0.0001 withdrawal fee force the faucet licker to use the BTC to play on the sites rather than cashing it out

P.S you mentioned before that you are giving X clicks for people that has reached certain X clicks, when will you implement that feature? I might be on the line to get it, 69 clicks on the paid image

With the new rule, I think you should split the big 0.0003 btc prize in the free images into 2 or 3 smaller prizes, so to further reduce the incentive of withdrawing the prize.
