Thank you for contacting Cryptopia support. The UNIT wallet has run into some synchronisation issues. It is currently resynchronising and this should be finished within the next 24 hours. After the wallet is back in sync, all transactions will resume and business will be back to normal.

If your UNIT transactions are still not processed once the wallet is back online then please open a new support ticket. Please include specific details of the transaction, such as your transaction ID and amount, so that we can investigate further. We apologise for any inconvenience that this resynchronisation process may have caused, and wish you all the best with your future trading!

Yes, thanks Cryptopia.....I transferred unit coins at 6:30am this morning.....they didn't want me to cash in on at that time 75,000% profits .  Way to ruin a once is a lifetime opportunity for peons like us, who give you BTC every single day...to let us play your game.  So sad.  Maintenance...I got that reply to my support ticket as well...what a scam

Yes..should be within 24 hours and the wallet should have the synchronization problems corrected.....if not, make a ticket claim....like having lost baggage at the airport.  I just lost $75,000 because by the time it comes back online...the price will crash from all of us who did this today. I just happened to be doing it when it first broke out....and they pulled the plug on us

Cryptopia just added UNIT, having only a small amount of actual UNIT on the exchange when they had a technical issue with syncing wallets.  With so little actual UNIT on the exchange, API bots started to trade back and forth, causing the  price to rise.  People tried to transfer UNIT to take advantage of the price, but Cryptopia had issues with wallets, so the bots kept trading back and forth, creating a self fulfilling prophecy.

It looks like what we are seeing is the effect of bot trading.  Very hilarious if you ask me.

I think it is a strategy from the organization that act behind this action,. they need to stabilize the price of this coin,. to the price they want this coin be settled,.,. that way people who own the coin will not rush to sell their coin (if the price can be stabilized), who knows may be  there are big organization that will support this UNIT coin,..

Saw the madness this morning. Bought 1 coin (at a crazy price, which I didn't know at the time was crazy) and flipped it instantly.
Saw the major price difference in other exchanges. Bought 1000+ UNIT on YoBit, then got stuck in the wallet issues... Ending up selling at 50% loss 80% of my coins. 20% managed to trade back into Cryptopia, and I managed to sell at 0.0030000 before it dropped to 0.0008 almost instantly.

Ended up breaking completely even (I think)

oh sure. thanks cryptopia. Now i have my coin deposited.  Now that it has dropped by 100,000 % in value.  Such BS with their wallet maintenance.  And of course it's selling higher on the exchange I bought it.  GOOD JOB and thanks for keeping me from gaining any substantial gains, while others that had their coin were able to make out really well.  Went from possibly getting 275btc to getting only .21btc     Thanks cryptopia
