One S5 acted odd, went to BitMain, a brand new replacement arrived. Used about 72 hours and it is rock solid.

FOUR POWER SUPPLIES FOR SALE:
1x brand new 1300GX EVGA in box with wires pouches etc - this has to be one of the nicer units out there. Impressive kit.

     1 unit got hot powering S1's and the male/female pins got melty, works, but needs work

NEW IN BOX - Controller with 4 rotary dials (blue black lit) for fan speed. This is a powered controller, so you can add a second fan then control the power/speed as needed. It takes 2/3/4 pin fans. Looks cool, powered so it won't tax or add or confuse with PWM or other nonsense. Perfect way to add some fan speed during the day and slow them down at night when cooler. Really neat setup.

original fans will be re-installed. two of the machines have the SP120s on them as I had rear pull fans and a nice cold air feed.

I have been following S5s on ebay for a few weeks and they have been selling for $350 - $400 shipped.  After ebay and paypal fees, the seller is taking home $325 - $350 PLUS whatever it costs them to ship.  So a $300 offer is definitely a bit on the low side, but not that far off.

Has anyone confirmed they are indeed shipping at the time of purchase tho? I see the BFL run around of getting a product three to nine weeks later.


That been said the market is what we make it. We are the demand. If they are going for 400 on ebay there's a reason. High demand and little supply.


I called bitmain twice a day everyday for a week to confirm their delivery schedule. Never got an answer. Bitmain sells to big farms. They don't care about one or two units. Big customer orders will always be prioritized over your smaller customer. Ebay 'Buy It Now' with a seller that had units 'IN HAND' for me was a safer bet to get up and hashing right away and i was willing to pay the extra 60$ for it.
