Fuck the block explorer,  just make this a one evil coin.  Wink

Just kidding. At least the concept is unique compared to other cn coins
Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Yes but the fact remains that without a block explorer an exchange won't accept OEC for trading.  So I think the first and top priority for this coin should be establishing a block explorer for it Smiley Cheers

Hello,
I added support for OneEvilCoin in Forknote. It will give you a daemon and simplewallet with equivalent version of Bytecoin 1.0.5.1.
To use it, download the Forknote binaries or compile them. More info here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1079306.0
Download the configuration file for OneEvilCoin and save it in the 'configs' folder of Forknote:
https://github.com/forknote/configs/blob/master/oneevilcoin.conf

Daemon start:
forknoted.exe --config-file configs\oneevilcoin.conf
./forknoted --config-file configs/oneevilcoin.conf

Simplewallet start:
simplewallet.exe --config-file configs\oneevilcoin.conf
./simplewallet --config-file configs/oneevilcoin.conf

How to transfer your old wallet?
Copy your .keys file to the Forknote folder. Open it with simplewallet.

Maybe the easiest way is getting OEC added to minergate.com. They have block explorers for each Cryptonote coin listed there.
Plus spreading hashes over multiple pools is a smart move. Have you already been in contact with Claude before dev?

Can't sync daemon for 2.5 days now. Even with --seed-node 108.61.188.93, still no success. Do I need to add peers to the command too?

Update to Forknote. The old binaries does not work because moving to Forknote required a hardfork

Thanks, that synched immediately. A bit more info from the dev would be nice next time.
To start with a link to this place at the original thread. People might be checking that since April for nothing.
