Is anyone from Richmond or nearby interested in having a Bitcoin meetup? Maybe at one of the many local beer places, or we could talk to hack.rva about doing a meeting?

Since Mekong won the Best Beer Bar in the US as voted by the readers of craftbeer.com, I figured I'd organize a meetup.

Second Monday of every month at Mekong at 6pm.

This meetup is happening again tomorrow. At least one other person on this forum said he'd be there, though I'll let him identify himself if he wants.

The next scheduled meetup is Monday, May 13.  We have more people who have RSVPed than any previous meetup so it should be interesting.

In preparation for Monday's Meetup, I've created a new LinkedIn group.

We had a great turnout last month and expect a similar success this coming Monday.

This meetup is happening again tonight at Mekong. We'll be discussing Android wallet security in light of the recent events, and more.

mjc mentioned this at the meetup on Monday, but he's put his Kindle books in for a free day today (unfortunately, today's almost over and I had forgotten to announce it).
