The CS:GO community is a large and growing one, and I'm proud to be part of it. With the growing popularity and economy, there's a thick line between virtual skins and real money, usually Paypal, and scammers are prevalent.
Defusedcoin, or de_coin, sets out to be the innovation that breaks the border. A easily accessible coin made for the CS:GO community. Instead of having a set goal, Defusedcoin can be used for anything, from potentially tipping other users and streamers, fundraising prize pools, betting in 1v1 arenas, and trading for skins to potentially make a profit, or sell for real money.
Defusedcoin was just launched today, and still has a lot of progress, such as a better logo. However, I'd appreciate any help spreading the word out.
Defusedcoin is 0% premined, and I really hope this cryptocurrency can bring a lot to the CS:GO community.

What do you mean the difficulty is broken? And what's the drawbacks of coingen? I see a lot of the text/images aren't changed, but I'll do that manually.

I'm sorry you guys are unhappy I used coingen, I will try to address the problems with the actual client as soon as I can. However, why is the diff broken? mining is working fine for me.

I agree the specs of the network/diff are a bit out of alignment but I like the concept of this coin maybe consider a relaunch before you actually get off the ground with proper modern coin implementations for securing a network.

Well I read a guide yesterday and hopefully I'll get it running in the next 2 days, installing Linux to actually compile it, I'll try to remember to send you a PM.

And just because I used coingen doesn't mean I am stupid with computers. It is my first cruptocurrency, I am willing to learn.

You also must learn very long POW is not acceptable nowdays, too much total coins., price will be 1 satoshi or even 1 lightoshi.

I think the reason that people hate coingen so much is because it's the same old cookie cutter crap with a different sticker on it. If all you're going to do for a relaunch is just cloning some random coin then it doesn't really make much difference if you use coingen or not, the end result is the same. Rather than launching a coin that you don't understand technically you'd be better off experimenting in a test environment, coming up with some new features and creating a coin that has new features that people want and value. If you want to create a coin like the hundreds of others that are dead after the first couple of weeks then continue as you were.
