The target group for this offering is people who neither have the time or desire to run their own node, but still would like to support the network.

This is a service for interested parties who want to support the network, but does not have the technical know how to run a node themselves.

What do you get?

- Research, given the geographic location you desire to set up your node with, I will research possible hosts and recommend you the one I find most suitable according to your preferences. Will also advise in regards to system resources required.
- Intitial installation and setup of both VPS and bitcoin core (or other node software of your chosing).
- Hardening of the VPS, to reduce the risk of any security breaches.
- Optional enrollment in the bitnodes incentive program: https://getaddr.bitnodes.io/nodes/incentive/
- Ongoing maintenance (os and security upgrades, + node upgrades)
- Node monitoring, and automatically restart of the daemon.
- Custom selected OS (limited to what the host offers).
- Stats-page, like http://node.cryptowatch.com/. Minor customization to such a page for free, more extensive customizations negotiable at a cost.
- Optional domain name of your chosing with whois protection.
- Optional SSL-certificate.
- You are the owner of the node, and will have full access to admin-panels and ssh-login.

- Anonymous clients accepted.
- Payment: Only btc.
- Price: Obligatory costs for domain + whois protection + 50% premium each month over the cost that the host charge.

Minimum investments of 3 months. Maximum contracts 12 months.

Nodes outside the US is preferred, as the US already has plenty of nodes. If you look at this chart, you will be able to see how the nodes are distributed worldwide: https://getaddr.bitnodes.io/ .
A good idea would be to add more nodes where there are few.

The node I am setting up for you, although it could be used with a wallet, will by default be run wallet-less only to support the network. At this time I will not offer support for nodes with actively used wallets.

Example cost calculation:

Domain name: 10 USD
Whois protection: 5 USD
Monthly hosting: 25 USD + 50% premium * 3 months = 150 USD.
Total= 165 USD

PGP key available on request.

Confirmation: http://node.cryptowatch.com/offer.html

I will take on 5 customers with this offering to begin with, to ensure I do not oversell and provide a poor service.

The target group for this offering is people who neither have the time or desire to run their own node, but still would like to support the network.
