Nah, Pirate got pissed at BitVPS performance at one point and moved everything to SoftLayer.
I heard it was because BitVPS operators got nosy and saw how many coins he had.  Could be wrong though.

Loaded Wallets are generally not kept on a VPS.

~DonShrents

Unencrypted wallets containing all of the customer funds for your exchange are also generally not kept on an internet connected server, but who's counting?

I hear you can even hack into cold wallets of exchanges when they arent even connected to the internets  Smiley

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

is it possible a select group of people have been paid back... or perhaps are lying about having any investment ?

I think i've  seen 3 threads now (from a few weeks ago mind you) about people "recently" deciding to invest in pirate and now losing it for everyone......

Why are PPT issuers so scared of this ass hat pirateat40 aka PonzyClown?
Why can't you guys team up and apply some serious pressure on PonzyClown to end this fiasco?

I am sure  some of the PPT investors will back you up and help you to take down this scammer for good.

Just in case anyone is wondering: I HAVE NOT BEEN PAID by Pirate.

....I also haven't maintained a +10 OTC Rating for his Trustworthiness, but there's always hope.

Unless reeses was referring to the style of shoes that Pirate should be fitted with, before being walked out onto a Bridge over open water....I don't quite understand.

What I am finding out is, the best thing about the OTC ratings is seeing who is least trustworthy based on their feedback left for others.

If actions speak louder than words, then I am being deafened by the BULLSHIT every time I open and read that OTC page.

Ah yes, I can see what you really mean is for me to change my rating based on an emotional and irrational reaction to the fact I didn't receive my coins at the exact moment of my beckoning.  Wink
