∎ Beta ShellStore with collateral Sunday May 31st
∎ Encrypted Send File service  Sunday June 7th

How to setup a Masternode

To start a Masternode you need 25,000 SHELLS in one input block.
The input must have 7 confirms, before trying to setup masternode.

Use console command:

Code:
masternode genkey

Copy the result and place that in shell.conf :
change other values depending on your setup

Code:
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcuser=YourUserName
rpcpassword=YourPassword
server=1
daemon=1
listen=1
staking=0
port=12454
masternodeaddr=YourIPAddress:12454
masternode=1
masternodeprivkey=ValueGeneratedByGenKeyCommand

make sure Port 12454 can accept incoming connections

Restart wallet and use Console command:

Code:
masternode start

* if you get any errors, try starting wallet with masternode=0 before the genkey command.

Update:

This Sunday both Escrow and the Beta ShellStore will be released at the same time. Both will be fully working, but the ShellStore images will not be enabled yet. I have done several tests and everything works as it's supposed to. The Sunday after, I will do a fork to implement the following:

- Encrypted file send feature.
- Enable images for the ShellStore
- Enforce collateral to start a ShellStore
- Reduce POS block output

With that the first 4 point roadmap will be concluded, and a new roadmap will be posted.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Yea.. Always take a look at the RPI index before renting.. Those rigs have been on there for over a week now.
