EDIT: Use BitPay's new OpenCart extension.  See this thread for details. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=112725.0

With BitPay's recent DDoS woes, they made some changes that broke the provided module for OpenCart. They are working on updating their module, but it appears they're somewhat busy at the moment, so we took things into our own hands. We modified the code to work with or sidestep these changes and regain most of the functionality the module had before. We've decided to share our module with everyone! There are a couple of important changes, so make sure to check out the README and don't hesitate to contact me with any questions.

Download it here: http://www.btcgear.com/bitpay-module

We have not tested the modified module on every version of OpenCart. It works on ours, but make sure you test it before you go fully live. Let us know if you have any issues.

did you follow the instructions in the README and create an API key? At what point did it not work?

It's going to be hit or miss right now, as our service is not 100% operational.  If you are willing to deal with the issues, you will be the first to process payments. If you would prefer to wait until everything is tested and deployed, you have that option as well.

Would this work on the 1.5.4.1 version of OpenCart?

If the regular BitPay module worked for you before the DDoS issues, then this module should work for you now. It mainly just changes how the BitPay API is accessed and how and when orders are created. Make sure to read the instructions as there are some changes.
