I'm looking at buying either the Antec Nine Hundred Two v3, or the Antec Twelve Hundred v3.
The 902 has 8 expansion slots which is what I want, but is more cramped, and the 4th video card will be slammed right up against the PSU fan.
The 1200 has only 7 expansion slots, which means it may be difficult to mount the 4th video card. However, the cooling will be much better since: 1) There's at least one extra fan that I'm aware of; 2) there's lots of extra space in the case; 3) the 4th video card will not be right up against the PSU input fan.
The 1200 would be the clear choice for me if it had 8 expansion slots. I'm not sure if having only 7 will be a problem. Is it possible to simply have the lower half of the last video card hang down inside the case, unsecured, or is this not possible? Are there any other easy solutions to this problem? Any advice on these two cases in general?
Thanks, Jeff

It's a stretch to even get two into the 902 comfortably. If you're going to be taking up 4 slots, you want the 1200.
Thanks for that. What about the fact that the 1200 only has 7 expansion slots? it's it going to be possible to mount the 4th card in this case? Cheers Jeff

I can confirm the 1200 will fit 4 video cards. It's what I use.

The Thermaltake V3 Black Edition is smaller, only 7 Slots, but much cheaper and has excellent ventilation from top to bottom and mounts the PSU on the base. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811133094It has enough space for 7 120mm Fans. two on top and two in bottom with two on sides and a door for some great rising airflow. You may not be able to put in more than 3 cards, but it may be better for temps to split into two machines with more airflow and less load on the motherboard.

Just for the sake of confirmation, I installed four 5830s in an Antec 1200 last night and I only had to clip off a small portion of the bottom part of the metal backplate for the fourth card. They fit great... tons of room.

Hi there,
what about the Lancool K58. It has 8 PCI slots and looks very fine. The PSU fan is also directed downwards.. So Where's the Problem?

I am using this case: http://amzn.to/lgHjr4It has plenty of room, and great ventilation. It comes with 2 120mm fans, but you can add 2 more in the front in the included mounting locations plus one on the side panel right above the video cards for great cooling. I am running 3 HD5850's in it, and I have modified it a bit to hold a fourth HD5870 in the void space above the processor and ram.

I think the question aimed at a case which need no modification to hold 4 graphic cards.
I for myself are also looking after such a case.
