For some reason there are a lot of newbie 1-10 post members who seem to slate btc but seem to know a lot about it.

As long as this forum doesn't stop with letting people create endless amounts of accounts, this problem will never be solved.

Most of these newbie accounts are alts of kwukduck and co. Forum admin or mods should do something about it.

isn't the volume trade higher than before? it is 50% more than what it was in december 2013 january 2014, OP is pure trolling

Only if you measure volume in BTC, which is nonsense. Volume should be measured in "value," in "buying power," or, to be more concise, in real money--USD. Otherwise volume will seem astronomically high when 1 BTC=$0.0001, and a dollar's worth of coin changes hands.
But that's sort of a tangent; Hpzew was talking about GBTC volume.

Far as OP's point about this shitcoin? It's true, no one wants it anymore Sad

Replying to your own post?

What makes you think I'm Amph?

@Amph: Sure, there is real money (money normal people use), and there's crypto (what you pump the shit out of & dump all over the suckers to make real money - money 99.9999% of the world uses to buy stuff). That's why we're here, in the Speculation sub, talking about BTC tanking over the past year and a half. Not relative to LTC, not relative to Doge, not relative to Monopoly money - good ol' USD Cool

But why fixate on real money? I did say "buying power." BTC has lost most of its buying power after the pump, buys a touch less than 1/4 of what it used to. Talk about shit store of value! Cheesy
that US, the stuff that's printed out of thin air on a whim? Why, it buys just as much as it did a year and a half ago.
Now that! I call THAT a great store of value Cool

@alani123: You posted to tell us that you've ignored OP? RLY?

why everyone keeps take out the big fake bubble of bitcoin, to say then that it is dying, because that bubble is vanished now? that bubble doesn't count, it was never a real thing, just fake manipulation, the only real pump before that, was when bitcoin reached 230-300, which is the same range as now, we are in other word, still in april-may 2013, stuck there

I don't care if the market is down. I mean it's one of the basic economical feature, right? The current market price will certainly attract big time investments pretty soon.

That bubble seemed pretty real to me !

In response to above comments  US$ is not real 'money' it is credit/debt notes which can be created from thin air. US $$$ are created by billions even trillions at whim of the fed. Don't give me this shit about US$ being real money. US$ used to try to to be real money with promise to redeem in gold. Since US went bankrupt in the 70's we've had fake money rammed down our throats. Now they are going to try and even ban the bits of paper so all will be controlled by the governments. Real money holds value due to scarcity, US$ has declined in value 98% since it was created. In fact central banks deliberately try to devalue it through inflation ('to help the economy'). US$ .. Real money .  Angry

Ignored. Why the hell would people create another account just for posting this kind of thread? We can openly discuss this with your main account if you want to, and I agree that this is also a serious issue we need to discuss as a community, but why with a shill? I'm not only looking at the positive side, I'm also delving in the negative as well. Low volume isn't all that matters; there are a lot of factors to be looked upon, not only numbers.

Any time I see a post by a budding financial analyst, I do a quick "is_100%_useless?" check: look at Anon's past predictions ~top of last bubble. Let's do that:

[ ... ]
Been a little while since I posted on this thread, however heres the fork I'm now following on my blog.

Yep. Confirmed Cheesy

I've NEVER claimed to be a financial analyst. My blog is my own work and yes my own bad calls are sometimes or often made. If you had read my blog at that time instead of cherry picking one chart you would have seen that the fork I was following worked very well up to the peak. Also I stated many times that the timing of when it would pop was impossible to predict. Anyway I don't know why I bother communicating with an obvious troll such as yourself.

Adios to this thread too !

<troll crap>

All the zero activity newbie accounts spamming the forum are one crazed poster - notlambchop. All of them.

His primary account was banned for repeatedly making child pornography references on the forum (after 10,000 posts of the same tired spam in 8 months to give you an idea how much time this unemployed disturbed individual has to waste).

His numerous alt accounts were also banned independently to give you an idea how much the actual folk in here enjoy his company.

He is so desperate that he now posts anti-bitcoin bile and filth through newbie accounts.

Just click ignore and don't engage. Report any criminal posts until he gets doxed.

Classic troll. Ignore the content of a post because you cannot refute it. Try misdirection, fail.

Here it is for you to spend another fifteen minutes thinking how to respond.
