There is already a topic about this here, but as i replied to that the forum suggested i made a new post, so here it is.

Bitcoinmixer.info seem to still be scamming away. I guess I should have looked here before using it, but i did not, and in any case i still feel they should be stopped from continuing their scam.

I have tried contacting them directly, but as i have not yet had a reply or my bitcoins back, i will proceed to contact their hosting provider and anonymity service, to hopefully find out who is behind the page.

Should there be anyone else (having lost bitcoins on bitcoinmixer.info) interested in pursuing this i would be happy to hear from you.

Mixers are really dangerous...and I think that their anonimity is well defended, as they could face anew accusation of money laundry at any time...

Thx for your reply. I get your point, and you are probably right. However doing nothing will not get me anything. Also if the site does not repay any coins, but only keep them, you cannot accuse them of laundering anything Wink

Wouldn't they be laundering the bitcoins they stole from you if it's sent through the mixer?

Well possibly, but not necessarily (i do not think their page has mixing functionality). I am however not really an economy or legal expert, so someone else may have a better answer.

On a positive note their hosting provider have now taken the site down. Looking forward to see if (how long) it stays down.

Sad to see that bitcoinmixer.info is back up and running as normal. I guess twinservers.net / sitevalley.com who host the page are somehow in on the scam.
