For true devotees of Bitcoin, the price of the digital currency is almost irrelevant. They believe in its inherent value or, more frequently, cannot see any value at all in the alternative of government issued fiat currency. Price is therefore not a concern. At the other end of the spectrum, for those that harbor what appears to be an irrational hatred of Bitcoin and anything to do with it, the exchange rate also matters little. They were screaming that it was all worthless when the price was at over $1000, and somehow convince themselves that an exchange rate of over 200 times what it was before that bubble proves their point. For the vast majority of people somewhere in the middle, however, the price of the currency in Dollar, Euro, Yuan or whatever terms is important. Read more: http://www.nasdaq.com/article/does-the-price-of-bitcoin-matter-cm476312#ixzz3a1cH4qcUthe main factor affecting bitcoin prices is from very high bitcoin demand and getting bitcoin getting harder, if everyone wants to have bitcoin then all will buy it until the price reaches very expensive because nobody sells cheap bitcoin.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the
subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The
subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

All I can say is that the FOMO is real, people are buying in the hopes to gain profit in just a short period of time. If only this is based on real demand, the price would not rise like that fast, it will be slow and steady and more dominant movement going up.

Rate of bitcoin is the major element which effect trader motion when the rate of bitcoin decreasing the trader start buying more and more bitcoin and when the rate of bitcoin is increasing then trader start selling bitocoin.

And I think anybody who has a decent amount of Bitcoin will care about it's price or value.. Just a couple dollars can swing their net worth massively. It is a challenge and risk to hedge your investment in these conditions and as someone said earlier, most people fail to keep their holdings worth the same let alone more.

Yes, for me the price of bitcoin matter most as 1 bitcoin will always remain 1 bitcoin no matter what, but its value in paper money changes massively each year and also to transact we use $ or any other currencies and not bitcoin, so its price is more important to me. Also I earn my salary in bitcoin so it's really important to me to check the price of bitcoin before selling my coins, I always sell my coins when there is a stage of pump.

Well it seems like, yes, at least at this moment. Also including me, many people think that this upward trend will continue in the coming years too. I can't even predict if it'll stabilized someday or not..

Bitcoin price really matters for every investors before we look price, we prioritize observing Trends, market status because it just sets us free from thoughts. We know the fact how its price works with economics principle so we go with Analysis. Adoption increases when price is stable or increasing.

Absolutely the price rate matters. What is else than price? It is the only main asset that people are loving. And like you said, yes traders are only looking for the prices. Where are they doing, what I have to do now, should I buy more or sell more and what and why. These all questions are just because of the prices. Bitcoin is all about the price and this is one of most impressive part of it.

If bitcoin did not reach $10k then people outside will not even bother to check out cryptocurrencies. The price really matters especially to investment and it's very clear to see how tremendous it's effect to other non-believers.

Of course its an important matter. As a beginner on bitcoin the price is my point to how much money that i could invest on bitcoin.more higher the price more little the value of my money. And more people love to try to mining it. If the price going down many people will doing opposite. Many user of bitcoin will trying to save their money with trend selling. And the beginner try to buy as they could because the cheap price and wish to aim more profit if the price rise.

Yes off course the rate of bitcoin effect because when the rate of bitcoin decreased then the trader start buying more and more bitcoin while when the rate of bitcoin is increased then people will start selling their bitcoin and that is the good trading in bitcoin for more people while some people are also investing in bitcoin.
