Think we all are seeing that for the most part. I think the dev mentioned a fix for that coming, somewhere in the thread lol

Not seeing host/announce error.
No way to backup.
No encryption of wallet.
No way to direct hosted files to a specific drive. Where are hosted files stored? Using an ssd for OP means not enough space to store larger files.
Had SC last wallet. Now have KS. What is a KS?
Busy, early days.  Wink

Well, currently mining at 240 MH across 3 rigs. All are finding blocks. One has a dual card setup and it is only seeing one card as expected. Tomorrow Ill play around with it and see if a way to fire up second card.

ok, debating on adding rig 4, a Radeon 7970  Grin

In order to become a host, peers need to be able to connect to you on your host port. If you're behind NAT (and most of you are), you need to set up port forwarding on your router. Most routers have a web interface available at 192.168.0.1 or 10.0.0.1 where you can configure port forwarding. There are lots of guides for how to do this, e.g. www.portforward.com.

You can use this site to test your connectivity: http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports
Enter your host port (default is 9982) and hit "Check." If it says that the port is closed, you cannot become a host until it's open.

Port forwarding is a pain and it would be nice if you didn't have to do it. This is where technologies like UPnP and NAT-PMP come in: they automatically forward your ports so you don't have to monkey around in your router settings. We are working to add UPnP to an upcoming release, but we don't have a precise ETA yet.

you have to wait 144 blocks for confirmation
and there is a bug with the gpu miner showing to have mined tons of blocks in basically no time
hapens from time to time

so whenever that number is growing constandly over time its the blocks you really mined

24 hours later to know that there is no mining?
Now I don't know if my GPU is doing the right thing.
Is that what you mean?

The Beta

Sia is currently version 0.3.1. All of the current coins are testnet coins.
Using the current Sia interface, it is possible to upload, download, and share
files. It is also possible to mine blocks and send money to other people. Sia
is available for Linux, Mac, and Windows. Below are some screenshots.

Linux 64bit
Mac 64bit
Windows 64bit

Please modify those links. It offers 0.3.0 (win64), while 0.3.3 is available at siacoin.com.

Win7 x64, latest sia wallet.

Code:
D:\Distrib\Siacoin\sia-gpu-miner-win64>sia-gpu-miner
failed to get Device IDs: -1

Two R9 290s are waiting for the possibility to take part in this sia orgy.  Smiley

run the wallet, then run the gpu miner.
it's that simple.
it doesn't work for everybody, though, and the linux+mac version is slower than windows.
it looks like diff is rising 'cause I can't find blocks for many hours now.
besides, how to get the current difficulty? "siac status" returns a list of numbers I can't understand.
