If anyone.is holding SIA for the longterm, the fiat price does not matter short
or medium term, what matters is the development and implementation.

If anyone is worried they biught at 600 satoshi, just buy more now and lower
the average purchase price of your holding.

Well, i must to wait patiently.
Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Last I heard it he held a hard fork. And after that bitcoin down and slowly sia down and no good news.
But I think this coin will start to rise when dgb coin rises. That's the pattern from the past.

Very much active, you can join the discord for all the discussions.

Currently a lot is being developed and improvements are being made, along with the new mining releases that will happen this year

Of course the development is active. It is open-source and you can check the coding activity in GitHub: https://github.com/NebulousLabs/Sia/pulse In the last 7 days, 7 pull requests were merged, 4 were opened and 11 issues were closed.

The Release Candidate 2 of the future version 1.3.2 was released to beta testers this week. Most probably the general release of 1.3.2 will take place in 1-2 weeks. The biggest features of this release are a huge revamp in the file downloads speed and reliability, cheaper contract formation fees and scalability for the wallet, so exchanges don't have more issues in the future (Poloniex issues should be solved as soon as they apply the update).

It is hilarious that an account with a negative trust of -4 yells scam and immediately 2 accounts quote him and say "yes, it is true" explaining something unrelated afterwards.

Your past in bitcointalk.com speaks louder than you, scammer

Sometimes markets rise. Sometimes markets fall. It is what happens every day on every coin, asset and stock exchange. Traditionally when BTC rises, most of the rest of altcoins fall. Nothing misterious here: the amount invested in cryptos by traders is what it is, and if a trader wants to buy BTC, he will need to sell his altcoins.

You can be sad or unsettled because the price is not the one you want. But claiming that a fall in price is due to a scam like that user said, or you quoted and said he was right, is simply FUD and it is out of place in this forum unless you have proofs to sustain that.

If you need a hint of what is going on, check the rest of Alts: similar trends. Check Bitcoin: opposite trend

I'm guessing they're pissed because they bought in at a high price and Sia has dropped so they need to complain. If you are a true believer of Siacoin and what they are be patient and hodl. It will return This is a great and active project. I myself purchased Siacoin at $.003 somewhere around 50sat's I'm happy and still holding. Will continue to hold for a long time. What gets me are the people that talk shit about Crypto instead of just moving on to what they do believe in instead of talking crap about a coin they have no interest in......Move on.....

this is not bitkoin kotory you deliberately reduce the price to buy! This is Sia who dies, but does not develop! and the failure with Asic is guaranteed.

An excellent project with massive potential implications for the data storage industry. I am in the process of building a social media and business network, with distributed storage services rewarded by the blockchain. I hope to use a similar proof of storage mechanism to enable network Supernodes to host files for user posts, and earn rewards. The Sia project was a large inspiration for this aspect of the Ezira network storage design. Comments and suggestions to implement this functionality into the Ezira network are appreciated. PM me for further details.

I wonder if there have been coins and features that have been done lately and is there a way to track the amount of storage that is being used on the Sia network?
