BTC guy accepted bitcoins for a transaction for his single, upgrade, sc single, and 5 jalapenos from me. The amount of the transaction was $4,600 or 460 coins. The PMs started on August 23rd, 2012

Sorry for the choppy conversation on pm but I didn't realize I had to check the box to save my pms to the outbox. Summary is at the bottom for people who don't want to read the long and boring conversation.

i just got my single today. will sell it for $900 with free next day ship.

You only have 1 unit?

only one in hands. also purchased the SC upgrade for it.

my address is below. are you in USA?

19P4ochF31h78qnK5yxAFn33hiTSgmMQ8L
Yes I am in the US, east coast. Where are you located? I would love to get this asap.

im in IL

$900 with free ship. if you want over night ship it costs $40. do you want the upgrade too or just the single?

if you wanna pay the $40 i will ship it next day. it ships when you pay.

thats fine. i will email you the tracking when it ships.

not yet, i havent had my wallet open for a long time. im currently downloading the block chain. i have to go get lunch. i will let you know if i got the coin when i return.

hey,

i received your test coin. however, i have 2 people who want to buy all my BFL stuff. since you only want the single they get priority. if they dont buy me out the single is yours. if they do buy me out i will refund you 2 coins for your time and effort.
When would you know if they will buy everything? I would really like the single and can pay asap on it. It's more for teaching others about bitcoins than for profit.

What prices are you looking for the other equipment? I might be a contender if the price is right.

we are discussing $900 for the single, $900 for the upgrade, $1000 for the jalapenos, $1800 for the SC single. im not sure when i will have a definite answer for you. now that i have that single in my hands people want it bad. i dont wanna rush the sale i wanna make sure i get as much as i can.

Sigh, haha I was pretty excited to get a pm from you this morning as well. My other seller decided not to sell to me yesterday and I was kind of bummed. What number are you on the order queue for the upgrade, sc, and jalapenos? When did you order those?

i hear you man. the demand for these things is nuts. i ordered 6/20. SC order 2007. jalapeno order 802.
Do you have an instant messenger I can contact you on faster to talk about this?

i dont have IM. i check my email on my phone.

Yeah I do the same, whats your email? Sending a pm through an iphone takes too long for me.

Btw when did the preorders start for sc units?

Well the $900 definitely for the single right now.

$1000 for the 5 jalapeños.

Let me see how fast I can get some more btc before I say that I'll definitely get the rest. I don't like making deals when I don't have the cash to back it up right away. Would you give me a bit of a discount if I bought all of it from you?

If I only get those two pieces, are you willing to deal as well? How does the transferring work with the orders? They ship to you first and you ship them to me? Or bfl sends them to me?

Cool so I'll send the 1.9k right now to secure those. The other two I'd have to get bitcoins for. Are you willing to sell the first 2 separately?

I would have to get the bitcoins to you later today if you require me to get all 4.

Thanks again and I appreciate you saving me a chance to grab these units.

Summary: BTC guy and I had a 4.6k deal to get his single and preorders for a single upgrade, sc single, and 5 jalapenos. I paid first and waited to get the single shipped or preorders changed to my address. BTC guy has not communicated with me since last wednesday. I have proof that I sent the coins to his address and he confirmed that he received them. I'm more than willing to continue dealing with BTC guy if he responds but it doesn't look like he wants to. This is a warning for anyone that wants to deal with BTC guy in the future.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Ouch.  Painful to see our name in the log.
To anyone else not wishing to get burned in the future we can act as an escrow agent @ 0.5% to 1.0% depending on tx size and complexity.

Yah. That post was shady as fuck. He kept changing story of what he had. Tried to warn people in that post but people will crucify you here if you claim scam without proof so was guarded in my warning.

LOL then I was saved just by my internet connection slowness. I had a deal with him in May to buy 600$ in GPUs from him, I even sent the bitcoins but the transaction wasn't broadcast by some nice reason. I regretted on the last moment, and I restored a wallet backup. Transaction wasn't broadcasted.

Thanks shitty ISP.

Also, in case it's disputed, both of the addresses mentioned in the OP belong to the same wallet, as seen here:

Got this PM today:

Hello

Never been on this site before, but just had three people showup to my door that claim that they were from this site and claim he took him for 4k for a fail transaction, that came from MD, wonderiing if I was BTCGUY and this pr#ck is using my name and address on this forum I need any info from anyone, that had a transaction with this guy, to track him down. Looking for someone that had a successful transaction with this guy as with a tracking number so I can see what postoffice the package actually came from, or city, as he using my address in his profile, but is not where it was shipped from as I am the real Maurice Rivera and have no knowledge about this site except for what the member that showup to my door explained.

I repeat I am not BTCGUY, or any other alias he may have when under. But am the real Maurice Rivera and this a##hoe using my name and address, I reporting this guy to the police, but they need more info, So anyone with tracking info if you ever receive a package from him would be a good start, or any email address or phone number he may have used, or other name he may have when under.

My email address is retropcdos@gmail.com PM me and I give you phone # 773-354-3925

I am in no way connected to this guy and is now consider identify fraud as I am filing a report.
