Does anyone know of a problem with Feed Ze Birds. I created a campaign of a while back and funded it with Bitcins and a PayPal transfer. I have yet to see the campaign funded.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

feedzebirds sux!

I created a campaign too - nothing happened... No refund of my bitcoins...

I've sent PM to the owners - evorhees is one of them . Nothing so far.

I also used the contact form - still nothing... 2-3 days must have passed...

I have messaged evoorhees weekly about this, I made a couple campaigns which never got funded (not out very much though).

Every once in awhile I inform him of how many days the site has been dead for.  He keeps forwarding my messages to "customer support" which there is no response from.

The last successfully posted campaign was on Aug. 5th.  If you look at their Twitter page, you can see the most recent tweets.  Those three that were posted on the 21st of August are not valid, I have no idea where those came from but the links don't go anywhere.

Imagine how ticked off a person would be if they invested in FeedZeBirds' IPO!  They sold 2600 BTC worth of shares that day, and I guess put the website on cruise control and went to work on other projects.

I could only imagine how busy these guys are, being involved with SatoshiDice, Bitcoin Magazine, and assumed other projects, but I have done everything in my power to inform him about this.  I count 8 messages sent to him regarding it.

RIP FeedZeBirds, missing you!  47 days dead and counting..

edit: here's their GLBSE ticker, I guess they arn't doing too bad considering.  Might be an opporntunity to buy shares at a discount.

edit #2: AHA!  Feed Ze Birds has gone to the bears!!  Looking at their GLBSE announcement thread I linked to above shows that this is a joint effort between evoorhees and bearbones.

Last successful FZB tweet, August 5th, bearbones awol on August 10th?  I suspect hibernating.  In bearbones' profile he links to his homepage, which is also offline.

Mystery solved, don't blame evoorhees, blame...

DA BEARS

Seriously though, anyone know bearbones personally?  The guy could be either evil or dead, it's a bit concerning IMHO.

Hi,

Sorry hadn't seen this thread.

To clarify - FZB is a project by myself and Ira Miller (Bearbones). We both also work for BitInstant here in NYC.

If any responses have been unanswered, I apologize, it's just a case of too much going on. I asked Ira to check on the Paypal issue and will follow up with him on it today. For any issues with FZB, you're welcome to PM me here on the forum. Ira is usually too busy working to be on the forum much but like myself, he's doing Bitcoin stuff roughly 25 hrs per day.

Thanks for your patience and mc_lovin I'll follow up with you in the PM.

Sorry about the delay! As Erik said, we're really busy, and I haven't had as much time to dedicate to FZB as I'd like. The server was rebooted without notifying me, and it needed permission to restart the wallet. I did so, and it is catching up again. Should be back to normal soon.

I use a Google alert ( http://www.google.com/alerts?hl=en ) looking for "Shire Silver" to help find places where people talk about my stuff, and I'd bet Erik and Ira do something similar. If that's true, maybe the filter missed this thread due to the spaces in Feed Ze Birds in the thread title.

Using or not using an alert, doesn't explain why there has been no response to my PayPal dispute. No response as of an hour ago, the last time I checked.

Perhaps you need to hire an administrator for this site?
2600 coins received from the IPO should help you

Damn, I wish I had found this thread first..

Just funded a campaign and obviously no payment confirmation has appeared!

Is there any update on where things are at?  Happy to receive a refund if the site is no longer being maintained.

I thought any service that Evoorhees had put his name to would be pretty trustworthy..  lets hope this mess gets cleaned up.
