i like houston at home myself. either team can win this game but the way houston played game 6 showed that they want this BAD. i look for houston to destroy the clippers tomorrow and move into the conference finals.

The Clippers collapse in game 6 is one for the story books.  Still they won so convincingly earlier in the series.  They also have shown they can win on the road.  Still, hard to not go with Houston at home for the series win, especially if you are getting odds.  Nitro shows you can get Houston and 2.5 points at home.  While every game so far in this series has been a blowout, that may be a decent bet.

I actually love the Rockets too. Hakeem Olajuwon is my favorite all-time player and he mentors Dwight Howard. I can't let those biases affect me when gambling though

You are being results based and stupid.  Me losing my bet doesn't mean my logic was wrong, it means that a 40-45% shot won.  That's why gambling is fun, because there is no such thing as a sure thing.  It's also why it's profitable, because people don't know how to analyze statistics and say "I want this person/team to win, therefore they will!" and when it happens, they ascribe some sort of skill to their guessing.
