I would actually propose LESS text formatting, since all that colors and lines only add noise to the posts.

An economy based on endless growth is unsustainable.

I agree with limitiing the color schemes and all the different formatting only the very essential like bold, underline, italics should be added and get rid of all this fancy glowing stuff

Hmm.. sound like a good idea. However, I like how Bitcointalk is right now. Not too much text formatting. On the other hand, I wish to see Bitcointalk like those popular forums such as PokeCommunity. Whereas, users can create a unique thread using custom CSS.

So sad! This profile does not appear as the #1 result (on anonymous) Google searches anymore.

Time to be active on the crypto forums again? Proud to be one of the few Legendary members of the Sparkie Red Dot!

Gonna put this on my resume if I ever join a cryptocurrency/blockchain industry!

I remember a troll who created a giant post mostly composed of flashing smileys that was really annoying. The fact it was flashing was the most annoying thing. I suggest removing any ability to do that in the new forum.

Don't we already do something like That?

That's not what I meant, what I meant is an outline color from the letter. Like... the second layer of the letter Smiley, not like thisglow. "Glow" is made a rectangle shape, I want an outline color that following the line of the letter

You want something I'm not even sure is possible with CSS.

There is no point in adding more formatting. The current supported formatting is enough to highlight important points. Adding more formatting could potentially make posts more difficult to read.

What your asking for is called "text-shadow" and CSS does support it. I'm not sure if the shadow tag on this forum is broken but it works in epochtalk.

Yeah, that's what I mean. Text shadow, it's okay if it's not possible to be added Smiley
