If we break 284 we will test 290-295 in very short time.
If we fail at 284 not sure what's next.

Probably we will test bullish support line (264-268).

Let's see if it holds...

Probably we will test bullish support line (264-268).

Let's see if it holds...

I'd closeout recent longs (purchased in the $260s) but not enter a leveraged short (if short-term trading):

http://www.newsbtc.com/2015/07/21/bitcoin-price-technical-analysis-for-2172015-wide-divergences/

Volatility will increase (remember we started this rally off a low in volatility in the lower $200s), so take the major part of the move and then stand back for pressure to build again. Model it akin to a spring.

Note I am short until Octoberish. I sold BTC at $300 - $315 because I am not day trading nor am I trying to gain leverage by margin trading.

Agree, all longs closed and no shorts unless a quick one if we break 260 (maybe down to 245).

Klee, why you want to go down to 260/245 when we have a strong bullish support at 275 ?

This is a hypothesis, a scenario.

I will buy at bullish support if we fall or if we break 284.

Gold target 500$. Worst case scenario 300$.
If BTC decouples it will go at least 2000$.
If not targets are about 100$ and 50$ respectively.

Gold and BTC were moving in the past both in parallel and anti parallel. Interesting to see where this will go!

Support at 275 is very strong but the whales will have to buy a LOT of coins to keep the price above!

Interesting battle..

What's your time frame for gold and btc bottom? October isn't far away if they will coincide with Armstrong/anonymint predictions. Either we some serious **** take place soon or the bottom will be later imo.

Bear markets tend to be faster than bull ones, so maybe 1-2 years for Gold, maybe more. Not easy fot a market cap of this size to move so fast as BTC.

BTC if closes below 230 will need at most 1.5 months IMO to hit bottom. So in this case Armstrong is correct. Not sure he will be for Gold though. But stranger things have happened...

I just thought of realised something - if BTC counterrallies to Gold, Gold will fall faster & harder!

BTC will go up even faster than it would too.

How can we relaise this in a TA matter ?
