Get ready for the next internet, ethereum decentralized DNS is here!

ethereum decentralized DNS smart contract: http://etherid.org

This will change the rules of the internet, grab your domains while you can!

The only costs to register domains are the transaction fees which at current gas price is around 0.005 ETH (about 5 U.S cents)

Advantages of etherid:

1. Decentralized DNS
2. You can register any piece of text, any UTF-8 character or characthers are allowed, including spaces, special characters, foreign characters and case sensitive.
3. There are no extensions mandatory like .com, .net or whatever (they are just a piece of text like any other)
4. Cheap, you can register new domains for about $0.05
5. IPFS
...

Read full advantages on http://etherid.org

This is already live since few weeks and there are already 30K+ registered domains.

To register domains on etherid.org you need to use ethereum Mist browser.

Mist is the official web browser of ethereum, you can download the existing beta on their github page:

https://github.com/ethereum/mist/releases/tag/0.3.6

Note: Mist is still under development and is a bit buggy, most issues people have is with syncing the blockchain.

I recomment for you to download geth and sync the blockchain with geth, when you see geth is synced until the latest block on etherchain.org, close it and open Mist and Mist will open normally.

I think etherid will be for the Domain Name industry as bitcoin was for money, it will change the rules of the internet completely.

This little smart contract replaces ICANN, Godaddy, NameCheap.... all registrars on the planet, all TLDs on the planet... with a few lines of code!
