We may need to do some tweaking on the blockexplorer to help it adapt to the hybrid network as some of the hardware used with certain nodes are making some regular wallet transactions impossible to identify. The messaging is built into the wallet as a backup function to address this issue.Perhaps we may need to look at a different form of blockexplorer down the line.As the current service has already been paid for we will just have to sit it out for now.Wallet, network and transactions are 100% without issue.

Thanks for the donation RMadillo.

It's time for a update...

We finally received the first payout from the community escrow account.  We had a total of 662 XBC staked this month through the escrow account.  These funds will be used to maintain XBC.  The Stake and Funds Distribution sheet can be found here >>>https://docs.zoho.com/file/l3hhvf3023de0df984209bba04903bb1893d3
Take a look at the sustainability/funds distribution plan for more details >>>https://docs.zoho.com/file/85vrg6f4c7d43c3c74ca19af6458a98f7e840

REMINDER... We are still holding ~9066 XBC that were not swapped (held at polo's community escrow account with the other community coins).  These coins belong to the community, but they have to be spent on coin development such as wallet updates, marketing, graphic design, website/node hosting, bounties, etc...  Any suggestions on what we should do with this?

We should now be able to start some projects due to the monthly stake.  We're in a good position now that we have some reoccuring funding, dev talent, a major exchange as a partner, and a solid wallet to work with.  The team is getting together soon to come up with REALISTIC 3, 6, 9, and 12 month goals and we would like to hear what the community would like implemented.

We are testing some new hardware with the network so wallet sync time may be slow in some cases due to some resources being temporarily offline. We will be experimenting with various types of hardware over the coming weeks. Please increase your transaction fee as the current setting is a bit low to help with the network and consider sending larger transactions in smaller amounts if you have the time to do it that way.

BTW we have had some good ideas thrown at us with what people would like to see implemented on the short term however some of the ideas would take more time and funds to acheive those goals.Maybe when XBC is at a higher price and the volume gets better we can raise those funds for those things however some of the practical ideas regarding the wallet functions are very interesting and and practical/useful and certainly doable.Anyone else out there in the community who can do stuff feel free to have a go.Bounties are available.

Mucho Gracias Amigos

Congratulations on your work.I am actually surprised this coin is not .01 BTC at lowest and noticed it being attacked on the exchange shortly after your new release by some traders who hold larger amounts. Why are they trying to suppress or even kill the price and volume??I still have some XBC myself however I have already donated most of it by now to the previous crowd who failed to perform.

You however are to be commended on your delivery of your promises to date.

Well thank you sir.  I think that it'll pay off in the long run.

I'm glad that I wasn't the only one that noticed that... Why someone would hold when the coin was .002 while sitting still for so long, then dump and hold the prices at this level after we manage to really start turning this thing around?   Why would someone put so much effort into keeping XBC's price down??? We must be doing something RIGHT!!!   Cheesy

This is still the wild west of crypto...

Is there a way to get the XBC source?  I want to compile the daemon on Debian so that our pool can payout in XBC but I can't find a repository anywhere.

Chris, We'll get something setup for you.   Be on the lookout for a PM from us.

Our code is not exactly open source per se...  We make the code available to people/organizations on a case by case basis... Polo and Cointopay reviewed the source for example.  The are parts of the wallet that were created from the ground up and our wallet dev requested the wallet's source to remain private.

Isnt there a hard copy of the full version held by xbc team?Maybe wallet dev can make a version for pools that doesnt compromise the original??

We sure could do with some help around here.We need community to become more active with ideas for the next stage of progress.Without this input we really don't have a consensus or mandate to implement these things funds permitting of course.

With XBC volume and price being so stagnant and at the lower end of things and btc not doing anything amazing regards price we cannot raise decent funds anyway so start putting ideas either on this thread or email, tweet,pm such ideas or what you can do to help out.

Any foreign language speakers interested in setting up a twitter page in their own language or even translating tweets into their own language off the english version feel free to crack on with it.

We need ideas for maybe a simple marketplace and conference call feature through wallets etc etc so lets know what you think.

If anyone trades on BTER,BTC38,CRYPTSY etc dont forget to continue voting.

Notice Updated

The issue has been resolved and you should now be getting faster speeds with more connections on standard wallets.Expect some minor glitches from time to time as we are always tweaking and testing things to see what works and what doesn't.

Anyone with sell orders just sitting on the exchange just take them off and transfer your coins to your wallets because you will be waiting a long time to get those orders filled by the looks of things and from a traders point of view having a ton of coins sitting on an exchange waiting to be sold is not an incentive to buy a coin.

Some dude has 1021.12905089 xbc for sale at 2.00061361 btc expecting to get over 2000btc in profit.Like are u fucking serious mate?If anyone really ever wants xbc to reach the heights it was before its going to take a lot of hard work and effort so if you cant or just dont want to contribute any time towards helping out then at least trade the coin to get the volume going again.

Somebody out there is purposefully holding the price down and discouraging volume for whatever reason be it sacrificing a lot of cash to kill the coin off or buying up anyone who dumps low but remember the lower you dump the lower the pump.XBC community own most of the coins between them so its really up to us how high or low this coin goes in price but if nobody is willing to trade or even stake their coins then what is the point in working and putting effort for those who just want to buy a cheap stack and then sit it on top of the sell book.If you dont want to trade those coins just sell them low for a modest profit or stake them but for fucks sake do something.

Some good points there.Yes we really need traders and market makers to take this coin to a sensible price.Until we have XBC to at least between .005 -.01 btc there is no point in even looking at a marketplace or vendor programme due to the ridiculous exchange rate. For example it would take a large percentage of all coins available to purchase any higer value item like a decent TV or high end gadget and even coinpayments said there is no point in going on their platform until there is consistent volume so development in that area is pointless until volume and trading creates liquidity for anyone to be able to cash in and out to buy and sell goods.

Hosting bills are due again.  .166 btc were withdrawn from the community account to cover the monthly costs.  ~$34 to cover all of the node hosting (4 total) , and ~$12 to cover everything on the website side.  I will update the purchases sheet soon.

Just a quick FYI

Thank you jjmv  Smiley

Don't forget folks that some of our team members are also providing some extra hardware and bandwidth plus their time which is not included in spending so thanks to all again. We really need some extra trading and some transactions back and forth as the next stage will depend on stable reliable volume and liquidity plus a decent price that matches its quantity.

Yes big thanks to rmadillo for his support. That's what community is all about.

Don't forget to suggest ideas for the next stage of development.Once price recovers and some consistent trading takes place we should be in a good position to move onwards to our next goal.

Also need people to trade their coins instead hoarding them like they are going to become millionaires somehow.Dont sit on them just sell them because nobody needs over 100 coins. All they are doing by hoarding over 1k coins is putting traders off.If they want the coin to moon then they have to sell and buy all the way up.Just do something instead of lazily leaving it to everyone else.
