I am told the last wallet.dat tested for that is corrupted but it should be fixed sometime today

There is a temp BE up and a node added to it to keep connectivity stable and the wallet is  running fine now but would need to send a test transaction if someone is available to do it now

Its that time of the month again... Just paid for the hosting of the node vps and the website hosting.  Also... the annual bill for the domain is due within the next month.  I will be withdrawing this amount from the funds...  With that said...

I agree with egghead... Funds are not looking good with btc and xbc prices the way that they are.  We will be running out of funds soon (roughtly .5 btc left), and unfortunately I will not be spending any more money out of my own pocket for others to profit.

I am not a whale... I only hold 950 xbc and about 1 btc at poloniex.  I have a full time it job, a 3 year old girl, a mortgage, student loans, and a wife in med school who ONLY goes to school.  All of the bills land on me.  As much as I want to help, I have to be realistic and put my family first.  I have done too much work for the coin/community for over a year and a half with no return...  If things continue to go the same route, I will be removing myself from the xbc "crew" and handing over the domain, hosting, nodes, contacts, etc. to the next person in line so that I can join another team or concentrate on bigger and better things.

Guys... Gals...  XBC'ers...

Thanks for all of your support through the PM's.  I am not abandoning the coin.  To be honest, I don't want to go anywhere.  BUT, the truth is that we cannot carry this thing on our own.  This is a community owned and ran coin.  As such, we need the support of the community at all times, not just when things are laid out like I laid them out on the last post.  I/WE WILL NOT DO THE COMMUNITY LIKE THE PREVIOUS GROUP DID.  IF there is a transition to another group, which I truly do not want, it will be a very carefully planned transition with the community's interests as priority #1.

On a side note...  I have been in touch with the owner of the 10k coins (actual phone calls, not just emails) and he has assured me that he does not plan on selling his coins.  He seems to be a very genuine investor/entrepreneur who is here to stay.

Again, thanks for your support through the PM's.  There are a lot more of you fellow XBC'ers out there than I thought...   Smiley

Full instructions have been sent there already but it would be helpful to know what date and time and last block he was on when he last resynced. If there are issues he may need to rescan the whole blockchain from the beginning or maybe download the whole thing again.I have a bootstrap up to the last block before coin was abandoned which can speed things up and then it can be synced up to the latest block from there. There seems to have been an issue @ 194k

They can also contact you through the wallet if they want to help they can stake and trade the coin.We need market makers if this coin is going to be worth putting on a secondary exchange otherwise it would be pointless.XBC needs a second or even third good exchange and a listing on coinpayments .net to compliment both cointopay and poloniex who are our first listings.

XBC will not suceed without a realistic price in line with its total coin amount and volume to stabilise that price or coinpayments wont even consider it and it will not last on a second exchange without decent volume without getting delisted if left without reliable trader activity.

Also if ever a marketplace or whatever is ever considered nobody is going to buy or sell their goods or services for xbc because it would take almost all the coins in existence at this price to buy anything. For example a good flat screen tv would probably be listed at tens of thousands of xbc.

Price is on the floor now.

I understand the need for trading and volume etc or the coin cant survive and make money for development but the whole idea is long term development and marketplace adaptation?

If I could vote which I cant for some reason I would stick with marketplace for legitimate goods and services. After all isnt that what the whole thing was designed for?

The highest vote at this moment on cryptsy is 26117 and we are only at 622 so it would take over 25,000 votes to reach top position. If you were to pay for those votes it would cost in the region of 4 btc? Also that doesnt nescessarily mean it gets auto listed until it is reviewed by mullick afaik.

As for bittrex afaik its 3 btc to get listed once the coin passes their review. The poll probably should show estimated costs of what is on it?

Thats a super idea above and thank you to our generous community member.I would also propose that all larger bagholders get to know one another and maybe network on ideas that will make your stake holding a profitable one long into the future.

I would suggest any large bagholder to download a wallet and set up their messaging function and shoot me a pm on BPjx9xRbm36yKtWxi93jEUZB8zV9sWjsft

Maybe if we all cooperate on whatever expertise, skills, resources etc we can add more value to the project and help the community grow and also make a community member with a wallet holding even just 1 or 2 xbc worthwhile staking.

Lets try to work together from here on in and be more open about where we are and whats required. We are no different from any other community with regards the challenges we face so lets face that challenge one for all and all for one etc etc.
